Setting Up Google Assistant
Follow these steps to set up Google Assistant on your compatible headphones:
- Connect your headphones to your mobile device.

Set up Google Assistant using your mobile device:
- On your Android™ device, press and hold the home button to open Google Assistant and follow the on-screen instructions.
- *This feature is only available on Android devices.
Note: Google Assistant is available on eligible Android 6.0* devices or later. It works on Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Nougat Android Phones with Google Play Services, more than 1.5GB of memory, and a 720p or higher screen resolution.

Using Google Assistant
Control Google Assistant with your headphones:
Function | Action |
---|---|
Talk to Google Assistant | Press and hold the Action button to begin. Requires pairing with an eligible phone and an internet connection. For examples of questions and things you can do, visit: https://assistant.google.com/platforms/headphones |
Get your notifications | Press the Action button. |
Stop Google Assistant | Double press the Action button. |
Reply to a message (where available) | After receiving a message notification, press and hold the Action button to respond. When you're done, release the button. |

- To turn Google Assistant on or off, download the JBL Headphones App. You can select this option under Settings > Voice assistant.
