Product Overview

The Fenix BC26R is an ultra-bright rechargeable bicycle light delivering 1600 lumens maximum output and a 169-meter maximum beam distance. It features a Luminus SST40 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. The light includes a 5000mAh Li-ion battery and is compatible with an 18650 Li-ion battery when using the ALF-18 battery holder. Charging is facilitated via USB Type-C. Operating Instructions

On/Off: Press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on or off.

Output Selection: With the light switched on, single-click the switch to cycle through modes: Low → Med → High → Turbo.

Flash Mode: With the light switched on, double-click the switch to enter flash mode. Single-click again to exit flash mode and return to the previously used mode.

Intelligent Memory Circuit: The bicycle light memorizes the last selected output, excluding Flash mode. When turned on again, the previously used mode will be recalled.

Battery Replacement

Unscrew the tail cap and insert the battery following the polarity marks, then screw the cap back on.

Charging

1. Switch off the light and open the USB cap to reveal the USB Type-C charging port. Plug the USB A socket of the charging cable into an electrical outlet, then connect the USB Type-C socket of the charging cable to the light.
2. The indicator will display red while charging and will turn green when fully charged.
3. Once charging is completed, be sure to tighten the light head to maintain the dustproof and waterproof ability.

Notes:

• The normal charging time for the included Fenix ARB-L21-5000 Li-ion battery is approximately 4 hours from depletion to full charging.
• Recharge a stored light every four months to maintain optimum battery performance.
• The Low output is available while charging, but the charging time will be prolonged.
• This feature only works with the Fenix ARB-L21-5000 rechargeable Li-ion battery.

Battery Level Indication

Each time the light is turned on, the indicator will show the battery level for 3 seconds:

• Green light on: 100% - 85%
• Green light flashes: 85% - 50%
• Red light on: 50% - 25%
• Red light flashes: 25% - 1%

Note: This indication only works with Fenix ARB-L21 series 21700 rechargeable Li-ion batteries.

Intelligent Overheat Protection

The light may accumulate significant heat when used at high modes for extended periods. If the light's temperature reaches 60°C (140°F) or above, it will automatically reduce its output to lower the temperature. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the user can reselect the desired modes.

Low-Voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below a preset threshold, the bicycle light is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness level until the Low output is reached. If this occurs in Low output mode, the battery level indicator will constantly blink red, signaling the need to recharge or replace the battery.

Note: This warning system only functions with Fenix ARB-L21 series 21700 rechargeable Li-ion batteries.

Usage and Maintenance

• Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the light and will void the warranty.
• Fenix recommends using only high-quality protected batteries.
• For extended storage, remove the battery to prevent accidental activation.
• Unscrew the tail cap or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
• Long-term use may cause O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with an approved spare.
• Periodic cleaning of the battery contacts is recommended to improve performance. Dirty contacts can cause flickering, intermittent illumination, or failure to light up.
• Solutions for performance issues:
• A: Poor battery level. Recharge or replace the battery.
• B: Dirty contact points. Clean contacts with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
• If the above methods do not resolve the issue, please contact your authorized distributor.
