Wireless Network Connection Functions

Operations available with a wireless network connection

Transferring Embroidery Patterns: Wirelessly transfer an embroidery pattern from a computer to the machine using the dedicated Windows application (Design Database Transfer). This allows for seamless transfer of designs for embroidery projects. More information is available at https://s.brother/cajkb/.

Editing and Transferring Patterns: Wirelessly transfer an embroidery pattern edited with embroidery editing software (PE-DESIGN version 11 or later) from a computer to the machine. Additionally, patterns edited on the machine can be transferred back to PE-DESIGN for further modification or storage.

Wireless Network Connection Setup

  1. When the machine is first turned on, a message about a wireless LAN connection appears. To set up a connection, touch the 'OK' button on the machine's screen and proceed to the next step. The screen will display a prompt: "Set the Wireless LAN. OK to start Wireless LAN setup wizard?" with 'Not now' and 'OK' options.
  2. Find your security information (SSID and network key) and make a note of it. This information is crucial for connecting to your wireless network.
  3. On the machine's screen, touch the 'Wireless LAN Enable' option to turn it 'ON'. Then, select 'Wireless LAN Setup Wizard' and touch the 'OK' button.
  4. Touch the '►' (right arrow) icon next to the SSID that was noted in step 1. If the SSID is not immediately visible, use the '◀' (left arrow) or '►' (right arrow) keys to navigate through pages or search for the SSID.
  5. Enter the network key (password) that was noted. Use the on-screen keyboard to input the characters. After entering, touch 'OK'.
  6. A confirmation screen will appear, asking "Apply Settings?". Touch 'OK' to confirm the settings.
