Essential guides for preparing the bobbin thread and threading the upper needle.
Guide 1: Preparing the Bobbin Thread
Important Safety Note: Be sure to first read the "IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS" in the Operation Manual. Refer to the Operation Manual for detailed instruction.

Place the bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle.

Guide the thread through the tension disc and the small hook.

Wind the thread around the bobbin winder spindle and through the thread guide.

Engage the bobbin winder stopper to hold the bobbin in place.

The bobbin winder stopper automatically disengages when the bobbin is full.

Remove the wound bobbin from the winder.

Place the wound bobbin into the bobbin case.

Pull the thread through the slot in the bobbin case.

Insert the bobbin case into the shuttle.

Secure the bobbin case in the shuttle.
Measurements: Bobbin diameter: approximately 11.5 mm (7/16 inch). Thread length from bobbin: 7-10 cm (3-4 inches). Thread length from bobbin case slot: 1 cm (1/2 inch).
Guide 2: Upper Threading

Place the thread spool onto the spool pin.

Guide the thread through the first thread guide.

Pass the thread around the tension discs.

Thread the thread through the take-up lever.

Guide the thread through the upper thread guides.

Thread the needle eye from front to back.

Pull the thread under the presser foot.

Pull up the lower thread using the handwheel.

Bring both the upper and lower threads to the back of the machine.

Lower the presser foot.
-
Guide the thread around the presser foot.

Thread the needle eye from left to right.
Measurement: Leave approximately 5 cm (2 inches) of thread extending from the needle.
