Quick Start Guide
If you are a Windows user, please find the appropriate keycaps in the box, then follow the instructions below to find and replace the following keycaps.
1. Switch To The Right System
Please make sure the system toggle on the top left corner has been switched to the same system as your computer's operating system.
The keyboard features a system toggle switch. Ensure this switch is set to 'Mac' for macOS or 'Win' for Windows to match your computer's operating system.
2. Connect Bluetooth
Press Fn + 1 (for 4 seconds) and pair with the device named Keychron K15 Pro.
To connect via Bluetooth, press and hold Fn + 1 for 4 seconds. Then, search for and pair with the device named 'Keychron K15 Pro' on your computer or device.
3. Connect Cable
Switch the system toggle to 'Cable' mode.
Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. Ensure the system toggle is set to 'Cable' mode.
4. The VIA Key Remapping Software
Visit usevia.app to use the online VIA software for key remapping. Ensure your keyboard is connected via wire. The VIA software is compatible with the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, and Opera browsers. If VIA does not recognize your keyboard, contact support for assistance.
Use the VIA software to remap keys. Visit usevia.app. VIA works only when the keyboard is connected by wire and is compatible with Chrome, Edge, and Opera browsers.
5. The Layers
The keyboard features four layers of key settings. Layers 0 and 1 are for the Mac system, while layers 2 and 3 are for the Windows system. When the system toggle is set to 'Mac', Layer 0 is active. When set to 'Windows', Layer 2 is active. For Windows users, ensure key remapping is done on Layer 2, not Layer 0, to avoid common errors.
The keyboard has four layers: Layer 0 and 1 for Mac, Layer 2 and 3 for Windows. If the system toggle is set to Mac, Layer 0 is active. If set to Windows, Layer 2 is active. When using Windows mode, make adjustments on Layer 2.
6. The Backlight
Press Fn + Q to cycle through lighting effects. Press Fn + Tab to toggle the backlight on or off.
Control lighting effects by pressing Fn + Q. Toggle the backlight on or off using Fn + Tab.
7. Adjust The Backlight Brightness
Press Fn + W to increase backlight brightness. Press Fn + S to decrease backlight brightness.
Increase backlight brightness by pressing Fn + W. Decrease backlight brightness by pressing Fn + S.
8. Adjust The Backlight Speed
Press Fn + T to increase the light effect speed. Press Fn + G to decrease the light effect speed.
Increase the speed of lighting effects by pressing Fn + T. Decrease the speed by pressing Fn + G.

10. Factory Reset & Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting / Factory Reset:
- Connect the keyboard via cable and ensure the system toggle is set to 'Cable' mode.
- To factory reset, press and hold Fn + J + Z for 4 seconds.
- For firmware issues, download the correct firmware and QMK Toolbox from the Keychron website.
- To enter DFU mode: Switch the keyboard to OFF mode, remove the spacebar keycap to access the reset button on the PCB. Hold the reset button, then switch the keyboard to Cable mode. Release the reset button. The keyboard will enter DFU mode.
- Flash the firmware using QMK Toolbox.
- Perform another factory reset by pressing Fn + J + Z for 4 seconds.
