Keychron Q6 Pro Quick Start Guide

If you are a Windows user, please locate the appropriate keycaps in the box and follow the instructions below to replace the default Mac keycaps with Windows-specific ones (Alt and Windows keycaps).

1. Connect Bluetooth

To connect via Bluetooth, press the fn + 1 keys simultaneously for 4 seconds. The keyboard will enter pairing mode. Search for and pair with the device named "Keychron Q6 Pro" on your computer or device. The keyboard features a toggle switch on its top edge to switch between Bluetooth and Cable modes. Ensure it is set to Bluetooth for wireless connection.

2. Connect Cable

To connect via cable, simply plug the provided USB-C cable into the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end into your computer's USB port. The keyboard features a toggle switch on its top edge to switch between Bluetooth and Cable modes. Ensure it is set to Cable for a wired connection.

3. The VIA Key Remapping Software

The Keychron Q6 Pro supports VIA software for key remapping. To download the latest VIA software, visit caniusevia.com. If the VIA software does not recognize your keyboard, Keychron support can provide assistance. Note that VIA only functions when the keyboard is connected to the computer via a wire.

The keyboard has four layers of key settings. Layers 0 and 1 are designated for Mac systems, while layers 2 and 3 are for Windows systems.

9. Watch The Building Tutorial On Keychron's Website

If this is your first time building a keyboard, Keychron highly recommends watching their building tutorial video on their official website before attempting to build the keyboard yourself. This will provide a visual guide to ensure a smooth assembly process.
