Telos Alliance xNode2 IP Audio Interface

Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Unpack and Connect Components

The Telos Alliance xNode2 IP Audio Interface package includes the xNode2 unit, a power adapter, network cables, and a rackmount bracket. Verify all components are present.

Step 2: Connect to Network and Power On

Connect the xNode2 unit to your network switch using a network cable. Connect the power adapter and plug it in. Allow approximately 40 seconds for the device to initialize after powering on.

Tap the device's button once [tap] to begin the setup process.

Step 3: View Initial Network Configuration

The xNode2's front panel display will show initial network settings. This includes details for Network Port 1 (top) and Network Port 2 (bottom), such as IP addresses (e.g., 10.11.12.13, 10.11.12.14) and subnet masks (e.g., 255.255.255.0). The AoIP status is also indicated.

Step 4: Access Interface Configuration

On the xNode2 display, you will see an option to configure the IP address, indicated by a placeholder like <IP address>. Hold the button for 5 seconds [hold] to proceed with configuration.

The display will show fields for the IP address and network mask, allowing you to set the device's network parameters.

Step 5: Access the Web Interface

From a computer connected to the same network, open a web browser and navigate to the IP address displayed on the xNode2 unit. Enter the address in the format: http://<IP address>.

Step 6: Log In and Access Documentation

The web browser will display the xNode2 login page. Enter your Username and Password to log in. For detailed information, visit the official Telos Alliance documentation site at docs.telosalliance.com/xnode2.
