Tchibo Warranty and Service Information

Warranty
Tchibo GmbH provides a three-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid within the EU, Switzerland, and Turkey.
Within the warranty period, Tchibo GmbH will remedy all material or manufacturing defects free of charge. Proof of purchase from Tchibo or an authorized Tchibo distribution partner is required to claim the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper handling or inadequate descaling, nor does it cover wear parts and consumables. These can be ordered from the Tchibo customer service.
Repairs outside the warranty period can be performed by our repair center at your individual cost, if still possible.
This warranty does not restrict statutory warranty rights, which can be asserted free of charge.
Service and Repair
In case of repair, your item will be inspected and restored at one of our repair centers.
You will receive the address for sending your item from our customer service. Their contact details are listed under "Customer Service".
If sending the item is necessary, please provide the following information:
- Your address
- An email address for status and shipping information
- A daytime telephone number
- The date of purchase
- A detailed description of the fault
Please include a copy of your proof of purchase with the item. Clean the item before sending, pack it securely for transport, and send it to our repair center. This ensures prompt processing and return.
After handing over the shipment to the post office, please keep the shipping receipt for your records.
If the case is not covered by warranty, you have the following options:
- Approve the cost estimate for repair (you will bear the costs).
- Have the item returned unrepaired (at your expense).
- Have the item disposed of (free of charge for you).
