Getting Started
Charging the Battery
Connect the adapter to the device and then to the wall socket. The [charging icon] will turn green while charging. It is recommended to fully charge the battery for 5-8 hours before first use. Ensure the battery does not fully discharge; do not let it drain completely. A device with a completely drained battery cannot be turned on even when connected to a charger until the battery reaches a minimum charge level. A fully charged battery is indicated by a solid white icon in the notification bar. The [charging icon] indicates that charging is still in progress, even if 100% is displayed as the charge level in the Settings → About phone → Status menu.
Note: It is recommended to charge the device with the screen off. Charging with the screen on may not result in a full charge. The included charger is 5V, 2000 mA. Do not use 9V or 12V chargers, as this may damage the device and void the warranty.
