DJI Avata 2 Quick Start Guide

This guide provides essential information to get started with your DJI Avata 2 drone.

1. Battery Activation

Before first use, charge the Intelligent Flight Battery to activate it. Connect the goggles' USB-C port to your mobile device using a USB-C OTG cable and a suitable data cable. Run the DJI Fly app on your mobile device and follow the on-screen prompts to activate your DJI devices.

Charging Requirements: Requires a USB PD charger with at least 30W output (charger not included).

2. Controls Overview

The DJI Avata 2 can be controlled using the included remote controller or the DJI Fly app.

Lock Button

Takeoff: Press twice to start motors, then press and hold to take off. The drone will ascend to approximately 1.2m and hover.

Landing: While hovering, press and hold to land the drone and stop motors.

Brake: Press during flight to brake and hover in place.

Joystick

Move up/down to ascend/descend.

Move left/right for horizontal movement.

Accelerator/Trigger

Forward/Backward Flight: Press the accelerator down until the drone flies towards the circle in the goggles. Push forward to fly backward. Release to stop and hover.

3. Connecting to DJI Fly App

Connect the goggles to your mobile device via USB-C OTG and a data cable. Launch the DJI Fly app and follow the instructions to activate your DJI devices.
