Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

- Do not clean this appliance with sprayed water.

- Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before performing maintenance, cleaning, or replacing the adhesive card.
- Connect the appliance only to an accessible, well-ventilated outlet, away from bedding or other materials.
- Insect accumulation in the unit may pose a fire hazard; replace the adhesive card as needed.
- To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, do NOT use unauthorized replacement parts, including 3D printed components.
- Avoid touching the adhesive when inserting or replacing the adhesive card.
- Avoid looking directly at the light source in the insect trap for prolonged periods.

Instructions for Use
The insect trap operates using a continuous, attractive light that draws insects. Once attracted, they are trapped by a highly effective adhesive paper that prevents their escape.
Insect Trap Mode
- To open the device, turn the bottom section clockwise.
- Peel the adhesive from the adhesive card.
- Insert the adhesive card into the mesh basket (with the adhesive side facing up).
- Close the device.
- Connect the device to the provided adapter. Connect the device to an indoor power outlet.
- Press the power button. For optimal performance, leave the unit on continuously.
- Replace the adhesive card when it is full of insects, dust, or debris. It is recommended to check it every two weeks. Keep the device plugged in continuously. Once full, unplug it and replace it with a new adhesive card.
For Best Results
- Place the device in areas with a high incidence of flying insects.
- Consider using multiple devices in the same room.

Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions
Cleaning
- Gently wipe the exterior with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dust and dirt.
- Never use corrosive detergents, chemicals, wire brushes, abrasive scouring pads, or sharp metal utensils to clean the appliance.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or allow any liquid to come into contact with the main unit or internal components. Dry the appliance after cleaning and allow it to dry completely before use.
Storage and Maintenance
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place when not in use. Keep it away from children and pets.
- Store it properly to prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt.

Limited Warranty
Emerson Radio Corp. warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects in original material, including original parts, and workmanship under normal household use and conditions ("manufacturing defect") for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase, and if used in the United States. Should service be necessary under this warranty, Emerson will provide the following at our Return Service Center, provided the manufacturing defect is verified along with the date of purchase:
- Ninety (90) day repair service from the date of original purchase free of charge for labor and parts.
To receive authorization to return a defective item, contact Emerson Customer Service at 1-800-898-9020. Have your model number, serial number, and dated proof of purchase ready when you call.
In the event the product must be returned to Emerson:
- Pack the unit in a corrugated, strong, well-padded box. Ensure the item is well-packed to prevent damage during transit back to our facility. If the item is damaged, it will NOT be replaced, and the consumer will be responsible for return freight costs to receive their same unit back.
- Enclose your check or money order payable to Emerson Radio for $10.00 to cover return shipping and handling costs.
- Enclose a note with your name, address, phone number, return authorization number, and a brief reason for returning the unit.
- Enclose a copy of your proof of purchase (warranty service will not be provided without a dated proof of purchase).
- Shipment of the unit will have to be pre-paid via UPS or parcel post (SHIP IT INSURED) and obtain a tracking number to track your shipment.
NOTE: This warranty does not cover:
- Damage to equipment not properly connected to the product.
- Cost incurred in shipping the product to and from the Emerson Return Center.
- Damage or malfunction of the unit caused by customer abuse, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow the operating instructions (including cleaning instructions) provided with the product.
- Ordinary adjustments to the product made by the customer as described in the owner's manual.
- Products not purchased in the United States.
- Damage to the product if used outside the United States.
THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND DOES NOT EXTEND TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS OF THE PRODUCT. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY APPLICABLE, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY AS PROVIDED IN THIS DOCUMENT FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, SHALL APPLY TO THE PRODUCT THEREAFTER. EMERSON MAKES NO WARRANTY AS TO THE SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE.
THE EXTENT OF EMERSON RADIO CORP.'S LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL EMERSON RADIO CORP.'S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY THE PURCHASER OF THE PRODUCT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL EMERSON RADIO CORP. BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE WHATSOEVER ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
