Important Safety Instructions

When using electric appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, including:
- Read all instructions before using.
- Close supervision is necessary when used near children. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Use only manufacturer-recommended attachments.
- Do not use outdoors; appliance is not designed for outdoor use.
- To reduce electrical shock risk, do not immerse appliance or adapter in water or other liquid. Do not place or store where it can fall into a tub or sink.
- Pay attention to all warnings and cautionary markings.
- Not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience/knowledge, unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not contact moving parts.
- Do not insert fingers or foreign objects.
- Do not attempt to repair or modify; this may invalidate the warranty and cause injury.
- Do not clean with water spray.
- Do not expose to rain or moisture.
- Do not use near heat sources, steam, or corrosive gases.
- Always plug directly into a wall outlet; never use with an extension cord or power strip.
- Unplug when not in use and before servicing, cleaning, or replacing the Glue Card.
- Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions, is dropped, or damaged. Return to an authorized service facility.
- Only plug into accessible wall outlets where the appliance is well-ventilated and cannot contact bedding or other materials.
- Collected insects may pose a fire risk; replace the Glue Card as needed.
- To reduce fire, electric shock, or injury risk, do not use unauthorized replacement parts, including 3D-printed components.
- Avoid touching the glue when inserting or replacing the Glue Card.
- Avoid looking directly at the light source under insect trap mode for extended periods.
Servicing of Double-Insulated Appliances
Double-insulated appliances provide two systems of insulation instead of grounding. Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge, and should only be done by qualified personnel. Replacement parts must be identical. Appliances may be marked with "DOUBLE INSULATION" or "DOUBLE INSULATED," and may feature the [double-insulation symbol] (a square within a square).

Device Overview

Directions for Use
The insect trap attracts insects with a continuous light and captures them on a sticky Glue Card.
Insect Trap Mode
- Remove the adhesive liner from the Glue Card and discard it. Insert the Glue Card into the device with the glue facing the back.
- Plug the device into an indoor outlet. Press the ON/OFF touch switch. For optimal performance, leave the unit powered on continuously.
- The plug on the device can be rotated if necessary. Always unplug the device before rotating the plug.
- Replace the Glue Card when it is full of bugs, dust, or debris. It is advisable to check every 2 weeks.
For Best Results
- Place the device in areas where flying insects are prevalent.
- Consider using multiple devices in one room.
- Ensure the glue side of the Glue Card faces the wall.
- Keep the unit powered on continuously for optimal performance.
- For best catch results, keep the unit away from competing light sources.
- The device works better at night or in dark environments.
- The device traps common household flying insects.

Moths: High, Gnats: High, Flies: Medium, Fruit Flies: Low, Mosquitos: Low.
Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions
Cleaning
Gently clean the exterior with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use corrosive detergents, chemicals, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal, or sharp utensils. Do not immerse the appliance in water or allow liquid to contact the main unit or internal components. Wipe dry after cleaning and allow to dry completely before use.
Storage and Maintenance
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry location when not in use. Keep away from children and pets.
- Store properly to prevent dust and dirt build-up.

Limited Warranty
Emerson Radio Corp. warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects in original material, parts, and workmanship under normal home use for ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase in the United States.
To receive service, contact Emerson Customer Service at 1-800-898-9020. Have your Model Number (ITL5107), Serial Number, and dated Proof of Purchase ready.
If the product must be returned:
- Pack the unit securely in a well-padded box to prevent transit damage.
- Enclose a check or money order payable to Emerson for $10 to cover return shipping and handling.
- Include a note with your name, address, phone number, Return Authorization number, and reason for return.
- Include a copy of your proof of purchase.
- Ship prepaid via UPS or parcel post (insured with tracking).
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage to equipment not properly connected.
- Costs incurred for shipping to/from Emerson's facility.
- Damage or improper operation due to customer abuse, misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.
- Ordinary customer adjustments outlined in the manual.
- Products not purchased in the United States or used outside the United States.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Applicable implied warranties are limited to the duration of this expressed warranty. Emerson is not liable for any loss, direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damage arising from the use of this product.
This warranty is valid only in the United States of America. It grants specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
