03 Product Overview
The HK3000 is a three-phase meter designed with three-channel CTs to measure energy power at the grid point. It works with inverter output measurements to calculate household load consumption. The HK3000 uploads data to a cloud server in real-time for measurement, statistical analysis, and management of electric energy across different loads. This data is for monitoring purposes and cannot be used as a basis for billing by the grid power company.
Meter Interface and Indicators:
The front panel of the HK3000 features three LEDs: [Power LED], [Energy Consumption LED], and [Communication LED]. A [Reset Button] is also present, along with a [USB] port for maintenance.
- Power LED: Normal status: ON.
- Energy Consumption LED: Consuming: ON. Steady on: Purchasing from the utility grid. Blinking: Selling to the utility grid or communicates well with HomeKit.
- Communication LED: Blink once: Detecting data transferring. Blink 5 times: Reset successfully.
- Reset Button: Press less than 3s: Meter Reset. Press 5s more or less: Meter Settings Initialization. Press more than 10s: Meter Initialize settings and Clear Energy Data.
- USB port: For after-sales maintenance.
Terminal Connections:
- 1B (RS485-)
- 2A (RS485+)
- 3 - (CT3-)
- 4 + (CT3+)
- 5 - (CT2-)
- 6 + (CT2+)
- 7 - (CT1-)
- 8 + (CT1+)
04 Equipment Installation
The HK3000 should be installed on a DIN rail and must not be installed outdoors. Ensure personal safety by using insulation tools and wearing personal protective equipment when operating the meter.
Dimensions:
- Width: 72mm
- Height: 66.5mm
- Depth: 85mm
Installation Steps:
- Mount the HK3000 unit onto a standard DIN rail.
- Connect the necessary wiring according to the Cable Connections section.
- Ensure the unit is securely attached to the rail.
05 Cable Connections
Connect the HK3000 to the grid, load, and inverter as follows:
The HK3000 features screw terminals for connecting power, communication, and current transformers.
- Grid Input: L1, L2, L3, N terminals for connecting the main power supply.
- Load Output: Terminals for connecting the load.
- Inverter Communication: RS485+ and RS485- terminals for connecting to the inverter.
- Current Transformers (CTs): Three sets of terminals (CT1+, CT1-, CT2+, CT2-, CT3+, CT3-) for connecting the current transformers. Ensure correct polarity for each CT.
- Grounding: PE terminal for protective earth connection.
06 APP Configuration
