Installation Steps
Step 1: Attach Heater to Holding Frame
Secure the heater (1) to the holding frame (3) using the four M6 x 40 screws. The openings on the heater plate may need to be slightly bent to allow insertion of the screws.
Step 1A: Insert a screw through the U-profile of the holding frame (3) and fasten it with a non-self-locking nut.
Step 1B: Screw a non-self-locking nut halfway onto the screw thread. Slide two washers onto the screw, then screw on a self-locking nut until it is sufficiently tight.
Step 1C: Thread the screws into the heater plate (1) openings. Ensure one washer is placed below and one above each opening. Tighten all nuts securely.
Step 2: Attach Protection Basket
Screw the protection basket (2) to the four welded brackets on the holding frame (3). Use a hex wrench to tighten the M6 x 16 screws (8x).
Step 3: Mount Heater Assembly
The heater assembly, including the protection basket, can now be hung onto the side walls of the calf box using the two holding frames (3).
Step 4: Prepare Plastic Panel
On the short side of the plastic panel (4), drill two holes per U-profile (5). Position these holes 30 mm from the edge and 70 mm apart. The U-profiles (5) should be positioned approximately one-quarter of the way along the side length.
Diagram description: Illustrates drilling two holes on the short edge of a plastic panel. Key dimensions are shown: 125 mm total length, 70 mm distance between holes, 30 mm distance from the edge.
Step 5: Attach U-profiles to Plastic Panel
Using the supplied M6 x 35 countersunk screws (8x), attach the U-profiles (5) to the plastic panel (4).
Step 6: Final Assembly
The plastic panel with the mounted U-profiles can now be placed over the heater and attached to the side walls of the calf box.
