Web Configuration & Remote Control
- Connect the Ethernet (RJ-45) port on the back panel of the Modulator and the Ethernet port of a PC with an Ethernet cable. Power on the Modulator.
- Configure the IP address of the PC to be 192.168.1.100.
- Launch a Web browser on the PC and type http://192.168.1.15.
The default IP address of the Modulator is 192.168.1.15. The current IP address can be found from the LCD menu: System Setup ? IP Address.
All configuration settings available in the LCD menu are accessible through the Web interface.

Modulation Settings
- Country: Select country from a list.
- Channel Plan: Select channel from a table.
- Frequency: Edit output frequency within the modulation range.
- RF Output Level: Adjust between 70 and 100 dBμV.
- Bandwidth: Change modulation channel bandwidth (6, 7, or 8 MHz).
- Signal Source: Select HDMI or CVBS (optional analog).
- LCN: Edit Logical Channel Number.
- Channel No.: Edit HDMI channel number.
- Subchannel No.: Edit HDMI subchannel number.
- Program Name: Edit program name using an alphanumeric keypad.
- DVB Settings: Technique, Symbol Rate, Code Rate, Carrier Type, Guard Interval, Interleaving.

- NID: Network ID (1-65535).
- ONID: Organization Network ID (1-65535).

Video Quality
Video quality is optimized by determining the size and speed to transmit MPEG packets to the TV. Packet latency and delay variation are adjusted automatically by the Modulator for best video quality and performance.
Audio Codec
Audio encoding is automatically selected for best quality based on the local modulation technique:
- AC3 Dolby Digital: Applies to ATSC (8VSB) broadcasting in North America.
- MPEG-2 Layer 1: Applies to DVB-T broadcasting in Europe and South America.
- ACC (Advanced Audio Coding): For MPEG-4, applies to ISDB-T broadcasting in South America and certain ATSC (8VSB) broadcasting in North America.
