Fill the oil container with some water and wash it thoroughly.
Do not immerse the fryer body in water! Clean the surface with a water-dampened cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly and attach the basket and lid.
Remove the frying basket and attach the handle A to the frying basket by pressing the wires of the handle B towards each other with your fingers and inserting the bent ends into the holder openings C in the basket. Then, with slight outward pressure, secure the wires in the holder.
Operation
Removing the frying basket
The basket can be lifted/submerged with the lid open.
Lift the basket handle until it clicks into a horizontal position.
To remove the basket, open the lid as wide as possible. Before removing the basket during frying, let excess oil drain from the food into the frying pot.
To submerge the basket, slide the handle into the groove of the appliance body and then fold the handle down by pressing the handle release, basket holder.
Opening the lid
Pressing the lid opening button releases the locking mechanism of the lid, and the lid lifts slightly. If the lid tends to open completely, hold it with your hand.
This allows hot steam to escape through the slot, making subsequent lid opening safer and preventing scalding or burns.
After the steam has escaped, lift the lid and open it. To remove it completely, tilt it to a vertical position and pull it upwards.
Ventilation System
A ventilation grille is installed in the fryer lid.
Filling the fryer
- Fill the fryer with oil. We recommend using a suitable frying oil of appropriate quality, or a quality solid vegetable fat. Never mix oil with fat. Fill the container so that the oil level is between the MIN. and MAX. marks.
- Place the basket in the fryer and submerge it in the oil. Press the button on the handle and push the handle down.
- Close the lid (press the lid on both sides until it clicks). This prevents steam from escaping from the fryer.
- Connect the fryer to the electrical network and switch it on.
- Set the desired temperature using the temperature setting knob. Refer to the overview below in the manual.
Frying
Preheating
Before frying, the oil needs to be preheated to the required temperature.
The temperature indicator light will be on. It will turn off when the set temperature is reached. As the temperature changes, the indicator light may alternately turn on and off.
Frying
There are two frying procedures – frying general foods and frying battered foods (e.g., breaded).
Frying general foods
- After reaching the set temperature, open the lid, lift the basket, and secure it in the lifted position. Place maximally dried food in the basket. The basket should always be lifted when inserting food.
- Submerge the basket in oil and close the lid.
- Monitor the frying process through the viewing window by lifting the basket from time to time.
- After completing the frying, press the lid opening button, hold it slightly open to allow steam to escape. After a moment, lift the lid by hand, but be careful when opening, as there may still be slight steam pressure in the container.
Frying battered foods
With this method, food may stick to the basket, so fry very carefully.
- After reaching the set temperature, leave the basket submerged and open the lid.
- Coat the raw food in breadcrumbs and lightly remove excess breadcrumbs. Gently lower the food into the oil using a suitable object. This will slightly harden the breading, and when it comes into contact with the basket mesh, it will not stick to the basket.
- Close the lid and fry.
