Installation Instructions
Step 1: Height Adjustment and Adjusting Feet
The distance between the top of the existing concrete and the anticipated finished floor level should be equal to the total height of the floor drain. In case this distance is more, four pieces of M8 bolts and eight pieces of M8 nuts should be obtained and used as adjusting feet. The length of the bolts will be specified according to the aforementioned distance.
If adjusting feet are required, as a first step, the bolts and nuts are fixed on the body. This is illustrated by a diagram showing the drain body with bolts and nuts attached to its base, serving as adjustable feet.
Step 2: Placement and Leveling
The floor drain is placed at the already specified location. The height of the floor drain is adjusted. The top of the floor drain should be adjusted 0.5-1.00 mm below the anticipated finished floor level.
This step is visually represented by a diagram showing the drain body positioned correctly relative to the concrete base and the planned finished floor level, with its top slightly recessed.
Step 3: Pipe Connection
The floor drain is connected to the PVC pipe. Please make sure to have the required slope and the angle of flow for proper drainage.
A diagram illustrates the connection of the drain's outlet to a PVC pipe system, highlighting a downward slope and a 45-degree elbow fitting to ensure correct flow direction.
Step 4: Concrete Pouring Around Feet
Approximately 30-40 mm of concrete is poured at the bottom of each foot and left to cure. Make sure that the floor drain is kept untouched until the concrete is properly cured.
This stage is depicted in a diagram showing concrete being carefully poured around the base supports or feet of the floor drain.
Step 5: Final Finishing and Sealing
The whole gap around and under the floor drain should be filled with concrete gradually and have a smooth top surface. As the last step, tiling is applied.
The entire surface of the floor drain must be cleaned properly before placing the filter element and the grate. Please make sure that the rubber plug is always on. The rubber plug may be taken off for maintenance only.
The final installation is shown in a diagram, with the surrounding area filled with concrete, tiled, and the drain components (filter element, grate, rubber plug) in place.
