1 Safety Precautions

3 System Example

Diagrams illustrate independent operation of the Lossnay unit and interlocked operation with air conditioners.

Independent operation of the Lossnay unit:

Shows a Lossnay unit connected to power supply and a remote controller. If two remote controllers are installed, the latest control signal takes priority.

Interlocked operation with air conditioners, etc.:

Shows a Lossnay unit connected to power supply, an indoor unit, and one or more remote controllers.

4 Mode of Use

(1) Independent operation of the Lossnay unit:

Operation Sequence Relevant button Relevant display items
Starting the Lossnay unit ON/OFF Operation lamp turns on.
Setting the Ventilation mode Ventilation mode button HEAT EX., BY-PASS, AUTO. Pressing cycles through modes. If AUTO is selected, the current mode is displayed after three seconds.
Selecting the fan speed Fan Speed button Low or High. If the unit does not support fan speed adjustment, the "NOT AVAILABLE" display flashes.
Stopping the Lossnay unit ON/OFF Operation lamp turns off.

(2) Timer setting:

Operation Relevant button Relevant display items
OFF timer TIMER AFTER 0:30 Hr OFF. Pressing increases time by 0:30. Available setting time: 0:30 - 24:00. Pressing and holding fast-forwards. Timer cancels if ON/OFF button is pressed.
ON timer TIMER AFTER 5:30 Hr ON. Pressing increases time by 0:30. Available setting time: 0:30 - 24:00. Pressing and holding fast-forwards. Timer cancels if ON/OFF button is pressed.

Note: Timer function is not available when "CENTRAL" is indicated.

(3) Interlocked Operation with Indoor unit or external devices.

The Lossnay unit can be controlled by external devices such as air conditioners. The "INTERLOCKED" display will be turned on. Ventilation mode and fan speed selection are performed as in independent operation.

5 Maintenance

Operation Relevant button Sequence
Filter reset (Clear of the total operation time) FILTER button Press the "FILTER" button twice quickly, then "FILTER" indication will disappear.
Cleaning of the Lossnay unit's filter N/A Perform cleaning of the air filter and the Lossnay core in accordance with the instructions in the user's manual provided with the Lossnay unit.
Care of the remote controller N/A To remove dirt from the remote controller's display window, wipe with a cloth to which detergent has been applied, and then wipe with a dry cloth to remove any remaining detergent. Do not use solvents like paint thinner, alcohol, benzene, gasoline, kerosene, spray cleaner, cleaning alkali, etc., as they will change the quality and color.
