Headset Controls
Master Volume: Adjusts the master volume of incoming game and chat audio.
Mic Mute: Flip up the microphone to mute it. (Refer to position 2 on the headset for mute function).
Note: Over-rotating the mic past designated positions may cause damage.
Setup Guides
Xbox One Setup
The Recon 70 requires the Xbox One Controller with a 3.5mm headset jack. For original Xbox One Controllers without a 3.5mm jack, an adapter may be required (available at turtlebeach.com).

Volume Setup
- Press the [Xbox Button] on your controller.
- Go to the System tab.
- Select Audio.
- Set Headset Volume to maximum.
- Set Headset Chat Mixer to the middle setting.
- Set Mic Monitoring to your preferred level.
Surround Sound Setup (Xbox One Only)
For enhanced audio experiences on Xbox One, enable Windows Sonic for Headphones.

- Press the [Xbox Button] on your controller.
- Go to the System tab.
- Select Settings >> Display & sound >> Audio Output.
- Set Headset format to Windows Sonic for Headphones.

PS4® Setup
Connect the headset to the PS4 controller's 3.5mm jack.

- Go to Settings >> Devices >> Audio Devices.
- Set Input & Output Device to Headset Connected to Controller.
- Set Output to Headphones to All Audio.
- Set Volume Control (Headphones) level to maximum.
- Select Adjust Microphone Level and follow on-screen instructions to calibrate.
Nintendo Switch™ Setup
Connect the headset to the Nintendo Switch console's 3.5mm audio jack.

- Access the Nintendo Switch system settings.
- Navigate to Audio Output >> Headset Format.
- Select Windows Sonic for Headphones.
Note: Chat is available for games that support in-game chat.
PC/Mac® & Mobile Setup
For PCs with separate green (audio out) and pink (mic in) connectors, a PC Splitter Cable is required. This adapter is available online at turtlebeach.com.
Connect the headset's 3.5mm jack to your device's audio port.
