When contacting Service, ensure that you have the following data available:

• Model Number
• PNC number
• Serial number

The information can be found on the rating plate.

Operating Instructions

Step 1: Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged. Press the release button to open the water tank cap. [open-cap-symbol]

2. Fill the water tank with water up to the MAX line. Do not overfill.

3. Close the water tank cap securely.

Step 2: Setting the Temperature and Steam

4. Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet.

5. Select the fabric type using the temperature dial: Cotton, Linen, Delicate, Wool.

6. Wait for the indicator light to turn off, signaling that the soleplate has reached the selected temperature.

Step 3: Steaming

7. Hold the iron horizontally and press the steam button for steam output. Release the button to stop steam.

8. For continuous steam, press and hold the steam button for 3 seconds. Release to stop.

9. For vertical steaming, hold the iron vertically and press the steam button.

Step 4: Descaling

10. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and has cooled down. Empty any remaining water from the tank.

11. Mix water and vinegar (500ml water + 50ml vinegar) or use a descaling solution (50ml descaling solution + 950ml water) in a separate container.

12. Pour the mixture into the water tank up to the MAX line.

13. Plug in the appliance and set the temperature dial to 'Linen'.

14. Wait for the indicator light to turn off. Press and hold the steam button for 3 seconds to start the descaling process. The appliance will emit steam and water for approximately 2 minutes. Repeat this process twice (Step 1 x2, Step 2 x2).

15. After descaling, unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely. Empty the water tank.

16. Fill the water tank with clean water (1000ml). Plug in the appliance and set the temperature dial to 'Cotton'.

17. Wait for the indicator light to turn off. Press and hold the steam button for 3 seconds to rinse the appliance. Repeat this process twice (Step 1 x2, Step 2 x2).

18. Empty the water tank and the appliance is ready for use.
