About This Manual

This manual provides instructions for operating your CASIO watch. Please note the following:

General Guide

This section explains basic operations and navigation.

Mode Switching

Press Button C to cycle through the different modes of the watch. After performing an operation (except for Button B), pressing Button C returns the watch to the Timekeeping Mode. To return to the Timekeeping Mode from any other mode, hold down Button C for approximately one second.

The sequence of modes is typically: Timekeeping Mode -> Telememo Mode -> World Time Mode -> Alarm Mode -> Countdown Timer Mode -> Stopwatch Mode -> Hand Setting Mode -> Timekeeping Mode.

Button Functions

The primary buttons and their general functions are:

Auto Return Feature

The watch automatically returns to the Timekeeping Mode if no button operation is performed for two to three minutes in the Telememo, Alarm, or Hand Setting modes. If a screen with flashing digits or a cursor is left for two to three minutes without operation, the watch exits the setting screen automatically.

Scrolling

Buttons B and D are used to scroll through data on the display in various modes and setting screens. Holding down these buttons during a scroll operation usually scrolls through data at high speed.

Timekeeping

This watch features separate digital and analog timekeeping. The procedures for setting the digital time and analog time are distinct.

Digital Time and Date

Use the Timekeeping Mode to set and view the current digital time and date. You can also configure Daylight Saving Time (DST) settings.

To Set the Digital Time and Date

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, press and hold Button A until the seconds start flashing, indicating the setting screen.
  2. Press Button C to move the flashing indicator through the settings in the following sequence: Seconds -> DST -> Hour -> Minute -> Year -> Month -> Day.
  3. When the setting you want to change is flashing, use Buttons B and D to adjust the value.
    • Pressing Button D resets the seconds to 00.
    • Pressing Button D toggles between Daylight Saving Time (ON) and Standard Time (OFF).
    • Use Buttons B and D to change the hour or minute.
    • Use Buttons B and D to change the year (range: 2000-2099).
    • Use Buttons B and D to change the month or day.
  4. Press Button A to exit the setting screen.

Notes on Setting:

To Toggle Between 12-Hour and 24-Hour Timekeeping

In the Timekeeping Mode, press Button D to switch between 12-hour format (indicated by A/P) and 24-hour format (no indicator).

Digital Time Daylight Saving Time (DST) Setting

Daylight Saving Time advances the digital time by one hour. Not all regions observe DST.

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, press and hold Button A until the seconds flash.
  2. Press Button C once to display the DST setting screen.
  3. Press Button D to toggle between Daylight Saving Time (ON displayed) and Standard Time (OFF displayed).
  4. Press Button A to exit the setting screen.

The DST indicator (DST) appears on the display when Daylight Saving Time is active.

Setting the Analog Time

Perform this procedure when the analog hands do not match the digital time.

  1. In the Timekeeping Mode, press Button C six times to enter the Hand Setting Mode.
  2. Press and hold Button A until the current digital time starts flashing, indicating the analog setting screen.
  3. Press Button D to advance the analog time setting by 20 seconds. Holding Button D advances the hands rapidly. Pressing Buttons D and B simultaneously locks high-speed hand movement until any button is pressed or an alarm sounds.
  4. Press Button A to exit the setting screen. Press Button C to return to the Timekeeping Mode.

Telememo

Telememo allows you to store up to 30 records, each containing a name (up to 8 characters) and a telephone number (up to 16 digits). Records are automatically sorted by name.

Enter Telememo Mode by pressing Button C.

To Create a New Telememo Record

  1. In Telememo Mode, press Buttons B and D simultaneously to display the new data screen. If memory is full, you must delete existing records first.
  2. Press and hold Button A until a flashing cursor appears in the name field.
  3. Use Buttons B and D to change the character at the cursor position. Press Button C to move the cursor to the right. Repeat for all characters in the name (up to 8 characters).
  4. Press Button C repeatedly to move the cursor to the number field.
  5. Use Buttons B and D to change the character at the cursor position in the number field. Press Button C to move the cursor to the right. Repeat for all digits (up to 16 digits).
  6. Press Button A to store the data and return to the record screen. The name will flash briefly, indicating sorting. A record must have a name to be stored.

To Recall Telememo Records

In Telememo Mode, press Button D to scroll through stored records (only names are displayed). Press Button A to toggle between displaying the name and the number.

To Edit a Telememo Record

  1. In Telememo Mode, use Button D to scroll to the record you wish to edit.
  2. Press and hold Button A until the flashing cursor appears.
  3. Use Button C to move the cursor to the character you want to change.
  4. Use Buttons B and D to change the character.
  5. Press Button A to save changes and return to the record screen.

To Delete a Telememo Record

  1. In Telememo Mode, use Button D to scroll to the record you wish to delete.
  2. Press and hold Button A until the flashing cursor appears.
  3. Press Buttons B and D simultaneously to delete the record. "CLR" will appear briefly.
  4. Press Button A to return to the Telememo record screen.

World Time

The World Time function digitally displays the current time in 30 cities (29 time zones) worldwide. Enter World Time Mode by pressing Button C.

The time settings for Timekeeping Mode and World Time Mode are independent.

To Set the World Time

  1. In World Time Mode, press Button D to scroll through city codes.
  2. Press and hold Button A until the DST On/Off setting for the world time starts flashing.
  3. Press Button C to cycle through settings: DST -> Hour -> Minute.
  4. While a setting is flashing, use Buttons D and B to adjust it. Pressing D and B simultaneously sets the displayed time to match the current Timekeeping Mode time.
  5. Press Button A to exit the setting screen.

To View the Time in Another City Code

In World Time Mode, press Button D to scroll through the available city codes.

To Toggle a City Code Time Between Standard Time and Daylight Saving Time

This operation toggles DST for all World Time city codes simultaneously.

  1. In World Time Mode, use Button D to display the desired city code.
  2. Press and hold Button A until the DST On/Off setting starts flashing.
  3. Press Button D to toggle between Daylight Saving Time (ON displayed) and Standard Time (OFF displayed).
  4. Press Button A to exit the setting screen.

The DST indicator appears on the display when Daylight Saving Time is active.

Alarms

You can set three independent daily alarms: two one-time alarms (AL1, AL2) and one snooze alarm (SNZ). The watch also features an Hourly Time Signal (SIG). Enter Alarm Mode by pressing Button C.

To Set an Alarm Time

  1. In Alarm Mode, use Button D to scroll through the alarm screens (AL1, AL2, SNZ, SIG) until the desired one is displayed.
  2. Press and hold Button A until the hour setting of the alarm time starts flashing. This automatically turns the alarm on.
  3. Press Button C to move the flashing between the hour and minute settings.
  4. While a setting is flashing, use Buttons D and B to adjust it. Pay attention to the A.M./P.M. indicator if using the 12-hour format.
  5. Press Button A to exit the setting screen.

Alarm Operation

The alarm sounds for approximately 10 seconds at the preset time, regardless of the current mode. The snooze alarm repeats every five minutes up to seven times. To stop an alarm, press any button. Specific operations can cancel the snooze interval.

To Test the Alarm

In Alarm Mode, press and hold Button D to sound the alarm.

To Turn an Alarm and the Hourly Time Signal On and Off

  1. In Alarm Mode, use Button D to select the alarm or Hourly Time Signal.
  2. Press Button A to toggle the function on or off.

Indicators (AL1, AL2, SNZ, SIG) appear on the display when the respective functions are turned on. These indicators flash while the alarm is sounding.

Countdown Timer

The countdown timer can be set from one minute to 24 hours. An alarm sounds when the countdown reaches zero. Enter Countdown Timer Mode by pressing Button C.

To Set the Countdown Start Time

  1. In Countdown Timer Mode, press and hold Button A until the hour setting starts flashing.
  2. Press Button C to move the flashing between the hour and minute settings.
  3. Use Buttons D and B to change the setting. To set a 24-hour countdown, set the time to 0:00.
  4. Press Button A to exit the setting screen.

To Use the Countdown Timer

Press Button D in Countdown Timer Mode to start the countdown. Press Button D again to pause, and press it again to resume. To stop the countdown completely and reset it, pause it first (Button D) then press Button A.

The countdown continues even if you exit the Countdown Timer Mode.

Stopwatch

The stopwatch measures elapsed time, split times, and times for two finishers. The display range is up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds. The stopwatch continues running even if you exit Stopwatch Mode.

Enter Stopwatch Mode by pressing Button C.
