Main Functions
1.1 Channel Scanning
To access channel search: Menu – Settings – Channel – Auto Scan (enter PIN):
- Select the reception mode (Satellite, Antenna (DVB-T), Cable). Multiple selection is allowed.
- Satellite:
- Select the operator (if available for the selected country).
- Select antenna system (Single LNB, DiSEqC, Unicable).
- Select satellite (default for TIVUSAT: Hotbird 13°E).
- Terrestrial:
- Select channel ordering (LCN).
- Scanning mode: DTV.
- Start scanning.
NOTE: If you choose to use the LCN (terrestrial) or TivùSat (satellite) function, a channel list with a predefined sort order will be created at the end of the search. Viewing encrypted channels requires the use of a dedicated conditional access module (CAM) and its smart-card to be purchased separately.
1.2 Channel List
At the end of the scan, a channel list will be created. Using the CH.LIST button, you can view and manage the list. For example, create a favorites list, add channels to the HOMEPAGE, search for channels using filters, and edit the list (by moving or deleting channels). If both terrestrial and satellite channels have been scanned and saved, you can switch between reception modes via the channel list. Press the RIGHT arrow key to display the Channel List menu with available options, select and confirm the desired mode, then press the LEFT arrow key to return to the list and select the desired channel for playback. The channel list menu is also accessible from the main menu.
1.3 Antenna System Configuration (Satellite)
The default settings are for a fixed antenna system with a single LNB, receiving the signal from the Hotbird 13°E satellite. For a different antenna system, you need to change the configuration by modifying the parameters in the Channels/Scan/LNB menu.
NOTES AND WARNINGS: The TV is compatible with universal single converters, multi-satellite DiSEqC (1.0 - 1.2), and multi-user SCR/dCSS/Unicable systems. Incorrect antenna configuration can result in some or all channels not loading. It is recommended to contact a professional installer for installation. Signal level and quality indicators refer to the selected satellite transponder shown on the screen. Ensure it is valid/updated and active. Connecting the TV to the satellite signal via the antenna pass-through connector (LNB Out/Loop Through) of an external satellite receiver is not recommended, as both devices cannot operate simultaneously. In the case of a system with LNB SCR, each TV/receiver connected to the same system must use a different SCR channel. To connect multiple receiving devices to an SCR system, do not use the loop-through connection of an external satellite receiver; use a dedicated external signal splitter instead.
Smart (Home) Mode
The Home menu, also accessible directly from the HOME button on the remote control, allows access to the following features:
- Application management and use.
- Navigation browser.
- Selection of input sources/modes.
- Access to system settings.
WARNINGS: To take advantage of SMART TV features, you need to connect the TV to the internet.
Factory Reset
Resets all settings to their initial condition. Accessible from the Menu > Settings > Support > Reset to Factory Default > enter PIN. You can keep the channel list with any modifications and favorite channel lists by selecting the option before starting the reset.
WARNING: Restoring factory settings erases all user customizations, including stored channels, downloaded applications, and changed settings. Confirming the reset will perform a full system restart, and then the first installation wizard will be displayed on the screen.
E-Manual
The extended manual with a complete description of functions/menus/options is available in Menu > Settings > Support > E-Manual. The digital version of the extended manual is available via QR code (icon in the top-right corner of the screen) for viewing or downloading on a mobile device.
