Product Overview
The QFX PBX-56 is a portable PA loudspeaker designed for entertainment and audio playback. It features Bluetooth connectivity, USB/TF card playback, FM radio, and a TWS (True Wireless Stereo) function for pairing two speakers. The unit is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery and includes a colorful LED lighting effect.
The speaker has a black, durable casing with a prominent mesh grille revealing a blue illuminated speaker cone. A vibrant LED light strip is located at the base of the unit, and it comes with a detachable shoulder strap for portability.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to a qualified technician.
To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture. Do not store or operate this product near any liquids, heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, or under extreme weather conditions. Clean only with a dry cloth.

Getting Started
Display System Settings
The LED display screen shows the current input mode (USB/TF, Bluetooth, AUX, FM). When a USB flash drive or TF Card is inserted into the USB/TF input, the unit will automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playing MP3 audio files.
- Track Number: Displays the track number currently playing from USB/TF.
- FM Mode: Displays FM channels. Press the "play/pause" button for an automatic scan of all available channels.
Charging the Speaker
To protect the lifespan of the built-in battery, be sure to fully charge the PBX-56 before first use. A full recharge takes approximately 8-12 hours. You can use the unit while it is charging.
Control Panel Functions
The control panel is located on the top of the speaker.

- 1. MASTER POWER: Turn the unit ON/OFF by increasing or decreasing the volume.
- 2. GLOBAL CONTROLS:
- PREV/REC: Press to select the previous track or FM station. Press and hold to start recording to the USB or TF card (microphone input only).
- PLAY/TWS: Press to Play/Pause the current audio track. In FM mode, press to begin auto scan. In Bluetooth mode, press and hold for TWS sync.
- NEXT/REP: Press for the next track or FM station. Press and hold to play recorded files.
- MODE/LED.SW: Cycle through input modes (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF, FM). Press and hold to enable/disable the party lights.
- 3. TF Card Port: Insert a TF Card (MicroSD) for .mp3 audio playback.
- 4. USB Port: Insert a USB flash drive for .mp3 audio playback.
- 5. MIC. INPUT: Connect a 6.35mm TRS microphone cable.
- 6. AUX INPUT: Connect an external audio device with a 3.5mm TRS audio cable.
- 7. CHARGE: DC 5V 1A min input (requires Micro-USB cable).
- 8. CHARGING INDICATOR: Light indicates charging status.
- 9. LED DISPLAY: Shows function information for Bluetooth, FM, USB, and TF modes.
Connectivity Modes
TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Connection
TWS connection is designed for pairing two speakers of the same make and model.
- Turn on both units and enable Bluetooth mode on each. They should indicate a blue light.
- On one speaker, press and hold the TWS button for 3 seconds to sync the two units.
- On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings, search for "QFX PBX-56", and connect.
- Enjoy True Wireless Stereo audio.
- To exit TWS mode, press and hold the TWS button again.
Bluetooth Mode
Use the MODE button to select Bluetooth. On your mobile device, search for "QFX PBX-56" in Bluetooth settings and pair. The unit will remember paired devices and will not require re-pairing when switching modes.
FM Radio Mode
The FM radio operates within the 87.5 MHz to 108 MHz frequency band. Use the MODE button to select FM. Press the Play/Pause button to initiate an automatic scan for available stations.
Charge and Play
If the battery is completely depleted, the unit may not operate at full volume immediately after connecting to a power source. It is recommended to charge the unit for a period before expecting 100% volume performance. The unit will charge and play at lower volume levels, with output increasing as the battery charges.
Remote Control
The PBX-56 comes with a remote control for convenient operation.

- 1. STANDBY: Puts the unit into standby mode.
- 2. MODE: Selects input mode (USB, FM, AUX, Bluetooth).
- 3. MUTE: Mutes the current audio track.
- 4. PLAY/PAUSE: Controls playback.
- 5. Previous Track: Selects the previous track or FM station.
- 6. Next Track: Selects the next track or FM station.
- 7. EQ: Selects an Equalizer mode.
- 8. VOL-: Decreases volume.
- 9. VOL+: Increases volume.
- 10. REP: Repeats the current track.
- 11. SCAN: Press to scan channels in FM Mode.
- 12-21. Number Keys (0-9): Directly select a track number from USB or TF Card.
Battery Information
The PBX-56 is a lithium battery-powered PA loudspeaker.
- Charging: For optimal battery lifespan, fully charge the battery before first use. The unit automatically begins charging when connected to a power source, taking approximately 5-6 hours for a full charge. The charging indicator light is red while charging and turns off when fully charged.
- Usage: A fully charged battery provides approximately 1-2 hours of playback under standard usage. The battery can be recharged approximately 300 times.
- Maintenance: To prevent battery drain, ensure the speaker is turned OFF when not in use. If the unit will be stored for extended periods, it is recommended to fully charge the battery at least every 60 days to maintain its performance.
Limited Product Warranty Policy
QFX, Inc. warrants the PBX-56 against defects in material and workmanship under normal, non-commercial use for the applicable warranty period.
QFX will, at its option, repair or replace defective products or components. The warranty period for Parts, Labor, and Handling for this product category is 1 Year from the date of purchase.
Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, immersion in liquids, improper installation, accidents, unauthorized repairs, power surges, incorrect voltage, cosmetic wear, shipping damage, or acts of God. It also excludes commercial or rental use.
