Notes: The test samples of the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 were provided by the client. The compliance to market tire was verified. All other tires were purchased from the normal market by TÜV SÜD. TÜV SÜD randomly selected the tires for the individual tests.

In most tests, the reference/control tire is tested repeatedly to detect and consider changes in ambient test parameters, correcting performance by linear interpolation. Generally, all tires are evaluated relative to the reference/control tire. Performance is expressed as a percentage value, calculated from measured and corrected test data. In this evaluation, each tire's performance is assessed relative to the candidate tire (Goodyear = 100%). A percentage greater than 100% indicates better performance, while less than 100% indicates worse performance.

Aquaplaning Straight-Line Performance

Test conditions: Water depth ~ 8mm, Aquaplaning speed at 15% slip difference. Result for Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2: Mean Aquaplaning speed: 83.0 km/h.
