Detector Functions
The XD-2 detector can operate as:

Installation Steps
- Open the detector enclosure.
- Configure the detector (refer to the full manual).
- Create an opening for the cable in the enclosure base.
- Run the cable through the opening.
- Secure the enclosure base to the mounting surface using appropriate wall plugs and screws. Ensure wall plugs are suitable for the mounting surface.
- Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals:
- LED: Enable/disable the LED indicator.
- SNS: Input for connecting an NC type detector (e.g., another magnetic contact) or a flood probe. If unused, connect the terminal to common ground (COM).
- S: Alarm output (NC relay), used when the two output mode is activated (refer to the full manual).
- NC: Alarm output (NC relay).
- TMP: Tamper output (NC).
- COM: Common ground.
- +12V: Power input.
- Close the detector enclosure.
- If used as a magnetic contact, install the magnet (refer to the full manual).
- If used as a water flood detector, install the probe.
- Power up the detector.
- Verify the device is functioning correctly.
Environmental Disposal
When the device reaches the end of its service life, it should not be discarded with household waste. Electronic equipment should be delivered to a specialized collection center for recycling. Proper disposal helps protect the environment and natural resources.
