Reflex Active Series 14/15 Smartwatch: Getting Started Guide

This comprehensive guide helps users get the most from their Reflex Active Series 14/15 smartwatch.

Downloading the Reflex Active RED App

Search for “REFLEX ACTIVE RED App” in your smartphone’s app store for installation. The app icon is a red square with a white stylized 'R' and 'A' inside a circle.

Compatibility

Ensure the app is the latest version and has Bluetooth 5.0.

How to Charge

  1. Align the 2 magnetic pins with the charging spots on the back of the watch case.
  2. The pins are magnetic and will secure the charger in place.
  3. Plug the USB cable into a power source. Once connected, the charging icon will appear on screen.
  4. Charge the band when it displays low battery.
  5. A 2-hour charge time is sufficient to fully charge the smartwatch. Do not exceed this period.

Power On / Off

Bluetooth Calling Function

This watch features Bluetooth calling, allowing calls without unlocking the phone and viewing call history. A stable connection between the watch and phone is required for this function.

The watch includes a microphone and built-in speaker for calls, music, and notifications.

Part A - How to Connect

  1. After connecting the watch to the REFLEX ACTIVE RED app, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and pair the watch.
  2. Android & iOS: In Bluetooth settings, locate “Audio-Series 14” or “Audio-Series 15” and accept the pairing request. Allow permissions for full functionality.

Once connected, the device will show “connected for calls”.

  1. On your watch, swipe left to the features page and find the phone function.

Phone Call Interface

The phone call screen has three tabs, typically represented by icons: a clock for recent calls, a dial pad icon for the dial pad, and a contact card icon for contacts.

Making a Call

Once the call button is tapped, the number will be dialed. Users can speak through the watch's built-in microphone. Adjust speaker volume using the plus (+) or minus (-) icons. End the call by tapping the red phone icon (a red circle with a phone symbol).

Incoming Call

When Bluetooth calling is active, the watch will ring and vibrate. Users can answer or reject calls. Internet calls (e.g., WhatsApp) will show as notifications only.

Part B - How to Disconnect

To disconnect Bluetooth calling, go to the phone's Bluetooth settings and “unpair” “Audio-Series 14/15”. A shortcut to temporarily switch this off is available on the settings page.

Part C - Add Contacts

Users can add up to 8 contacts via the REFLEX ACTIVE RED app. Go to “Favourite Contacts” in the app to add and sync contacts to the watch.

Part D - Switch Between Phone and Watch

If the watch is connected via Bluetooth, all calls default to the watch. To switch an active call to the phone, tap the handset earpiece icon (a phone receiver symbol) on the watch.

Part E - Battery Advisory

The battery lasts 2-3 days with Bluetooth calling enabled, and approximately 5-7 days on standby.

Control Centre (Swipe Down from Watch Face)

Allows access to watch settings, typically represented by icons like a Bluetooth symbol, sun for brightness, gear for settings, cloud for weather, and a screen icon for screen option.

Messages (Swipe Up from Watch Face)

View messages.

Smart Menu (Swipe Right from Watch Face)

View the Smart Menu, which displays various app icons.

Features (Swipe Left from Watch Face)

Scroll through various features, typically represented by icons like steps, heart rate, sleep, and exercise.

Wellness Features

Start Exercise

Select an exercise type from the activity screen. Exercise modes include Walking, Running, Cycling, Skipping, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Tennis, Climbing. GPS connectivity is not used, so accuracy may be reduced. The display shows activity duration, steps, calories, and BPM.

Mindfulness: Breathe Feature

This feature helps focus on breathing. Tap to start, focus on breath, follow “Breathe in” and “Breathe out” prompts, indicated by a progress bar.

GPS Connection

The Reflex Active smartwatch connects to your smartphone's GPS for improved activity accuracy and location tracking.
