SEVERIN TO 2045 Baking and Toaster Oven Warranty Information
Article Number: TO 2045
Your Statutory Rights
When your appliance is defective, you have statutory buyer's rights regarding defects. Exercising these rights is free of charge. You must assert these rights against your contract partner, i.e., the dealer from whom you purchased the appliance. Contractual agreements between you and the dealer must be observed. This warranty does not restrict your statutory rights in case of defects. It is a service voluntarily and additionally provided by SEVERIN as the manufacturer.
Warranty Coverage
If the appliance is defective at the time of risk transfer (i.e., upon receipt), SEVERIN, as the manufacturer, will, at its discretion, remedy the defect free of charge within a reasonable time or provide a new, defect-free appliance. This warranty is not a durability warranty.
This warranty applies to the appliance with the article number stated on the front. A prerequisite for warranty coverage is that you purchased the appliance new. The warranty does not apply to used equipment that has been repaired or refurbished by a third party.
To claim warranty service, you must assert your rights within two years of receiving the appliance (from pickup for in-store purchases, or from delivery date for mail-order). SEVERIN will not assume further voluntary obligations like transport, installation, or dismantling costs. Statutory obligations remain unaffected.
Warranty Exclusions
A warranty claim is not justified for defects or faults caused by:
- Incorrect setup or installation, including non-observance of safety regulations or written instructions for use, installation, and assembly.
- Improper use, including misuse, improper operation, or overloading.
- External influences such as transport damage, damage from shock or impact, or weather damage.
- Current and voltage fluctuations outside tolerance limits.
- Non-observance of maintenance and cleaning as per instructions.
- Wear and tear due to use, such as decreasing capacity of rechargeable batteries, lamps, or components that typically require regular replacement during the product's lifecycle.

- Your full name, address, and phone number or email address.
