General Safety Information
Maintenance
A well-maintained battery performs well even after extended use. Follow these guidelines:
- Do not perform any maintenance while the e-bike is powered on or charging.
- Do not pierce or attempt to disassemble the battery to avoid fire hazards.
- Do not ride the e-bike if the ambient temperature exceeds the operating temperature range. Extreme temperatures can limit power/torque, potentially causing personal injury or product damage.
- Check the wheels regularly to ensure there are no foreign objects.
Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures a longer lifespan for your e-bike.
- Before cleaning, ensure the e-bike is turned off and the charging cable is unplugged to prevent damage to electronic components.
- Wipe the exterior of the e-bike with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
- Avoid using alcohol, gasoline, acetone, or other corrosive/volatile solvents, as these can damage the exterior and internal structures.
- Prevent water or other liquids from entering electronic parts or the battery.
Storage
Store the e-bike in a cool, dry place.
- Fully charge the e-bike before storage to prevent over-discharge after long-term storage.
- If storing for over a month, charge and discharge the battery at least once a month.
- Avoid storing the e-bike outdoors for extended periods. Sunlight and extreme temperatures can accelerate plastic aging and reduce battery life.
- Store the e-bike away from dusty environments to prevent potential damage. Cover it to protect from dust.
