- Please use genuine discs instead of incompatible discs, or it will damage the device and/or shorten its service life.
- Without the guidance of qualified personnel, do not replace the fuse, or it may damage the device or cause fire.
- Please follow traffic laws and regulations and do not watch programs or operate the device while driving, to avoid accidents (excluding passengers watching through the rear monitor).
- To ensure safety and operate the device normally, please ask qualified personnel to install the device.
- Do not disassemble or repair the device without authorization, to avoid damage and accidents. Please contact a local car audio distributor for details.
- Do not place the device in a moist environment or water, to avoid electric shock, damage, and/or fire due to a short circuit.
- The mechanical drive part of the monitor uses an automatic precision transmission component. Do not pull, push, or rotate the device by force or impact the TFT screen to avoid damaging the device.
- Do not insert the audio plug of the vehicle into the master unit directly. Please convert with the dedicated end cable provided by Boss Audio Systems.
- When installing the unit, prevent metal objects from falling into the master unit from the vents to avoid a short circuit and damaging the device.
Safety Statement
For the safety of yourself and others, do not watch programs or operate the device while driving. It is prohibited by law. The back-up monitor function should be used as an auxiliary view only. Boss Audio Systems is not responsible for any accidents occurred during backing.

Unit Installation
1. Place the 2 brackets on the left and right sides of the unit.
2. Use screws to fix the brackets to the unit.
3. Once the screws are attached, the brackets can be adjusted forward or backward depending on the installation requirements.
Panel Introduction
The front panel includes the following controls and ports:
- 1. Eject Key: Press to remove the Disc.
- 2. MENU Key: Press to return to the home menu or previous source.
- 3. MODE Key: Press to select the system mode.
- 4. TURN ON/OFF & VOLUME UP/DOWN: Long touch to turn the unit ON/OFF. Short touch activates the MUTE function to silence audio output; touch again to restore sound. Rotate to adjust the output volume UP or DOWN.
- 5. Open Port Access: Access the AUX IN jack, SD slot, USB port, and reset key.
- 6. Direction and OK Key: Used for navigation and selection.
- 7. Audio KEY: Access audio settings.
- 8. SUBTITLE Changing Key: Select subtitle language.
- 9. REPEAT Key: Control repeat modes.
- 10. STOP/C/BAND: Stop playback or change radio band.
- 11. Number Key: For direct input.
- 12. Play/Pause: Control playback.
- 13. ROOT Key: Access the root menu.
- 14. TITLE Key: Access the title menu.
- 15. Previous/Next Song: Under Disc/music/video mode, press to choose the previous/next song.
- 16. Receiving calls/call out; hang up: Manage phone calls.
- 17. EQ Mode: Select equalizer presets.
- 18. CLK Key: Clock setting.

Settings
Access the settings menu for detailed configuration:
General Settings (Menu 1)
- Retain ACC Power: Select delay time for shutdown after vehicle powers down.
- Beep Tone: Enable/disable audible beep for function selection.
- System Language: Select between Spanish/English.
- Parental Control: Select the parental control level.
Camera Settings (Menu 2)
- Camera Trigger: Select Front/Rear/Off to display cameras when reversing.
- Rear Camera: Turn the Rear Camera function on or off.
- Rear Cam Pwr: Turn on power for the Rear Camera.
- Front Camera: Turn the Front Camera function on or off.
- Front Cam Pwr: Turn on power for the Front Camera.
- Camera Delay: Select delay setting (off, 1 Sec, 2 Sec, 3 Sec) for the Rear Camera image refresh rate when reversing. Can also affect front camera delay.
Clock Settings (Menu 3)
- Set clock mode (12/24 hr).
- Set hour.
- Set minute.
- Set AM/PM for 12hr mode.
Audio Settings (Menu 4)
- Select output for external amplifier.
- Startup Volume: Set default volume. If the last shutdown volume is less than this, the last volume is used; if greater, the default volume is used.
- Adjust gain (slide up or down).
Tuner Settings (Menu 5)
- Choose between America/EU regions.
- Perform radio auto preset (PS) functionality.
- Choose Local or Distance tuning.
- Turn RBDS on or off. Touch 'Set' to enter RBDS page.
- Choose Stereo or Mono reception.
Illumination Settings (Menu 5)
- Turn on illumination detection function.
- Set screen brightness.
- Set gamma brightness.
About Settings (Menu 7)
- Enter touch calibration interface.
- View the version number of the unit.
- Restore the unit to factory status.
- Select whether to display a warning interface when booting up.
Tuner Operation
Operate the tuner using the following controls:
- Touch to go back to the home page.
- Show PS, PTY, and RT messages of RDS.
- Short press to seek backwards; long press to enter manual mode.
- Short press to seek forwards; long press to enter manual mode.
- Short press to select a preset station; long press to save the current frequency.
RBDS Setup Menu
Access via Settings > Tuner > RBDS > Set. Choose program types (news, sports, information, etc.).
- CT (Clock Time): Automatically corrects the current time when RBDS is opened.
- TA (Traffic Announcement): When on, the radio automatically searches for traffic stations. Traffic announcements will interrupt other modes and return to the previous mode afterward.
- AF (Auto Frequency): Automatically fine-tunes to other frequencies when received stations become weak. A warning message displays for emergency announcements.
- PTY (Programming Type): Displays program types to search for stations by category.
Note: AF/TA/PTY functions require RBDS to be turned ON.
Media Playback
DISC/CD/USB/SD Playback
Access media via the main menu.
DVD Mode Operation
- Touch to select title/chapter of DVD.
- Short press for previous chapter, long press to rewind.
- Touch to playback/pause.
- Short press for next chapter, long press to fast forward.
- Touch to enter DVD root menu.
- Navigate menu pages (next/previous).
- Change repeat mode (DVD: repeat all, repeat off, repeat chapter, repeat title; VCD (PBC off): repeat all, repeat off, repeat single).
- Change random play mode.
- Enter video adjust page.
- Enter DVD title menu.
- Select subtitle language (if available).
- Switch video aspect ratio (4:3 and 16:9).
- Select DVD audio language.
- Select DVD video angle.
Note: Video playback requires the parking brake to be engaged.
CD Audio
- Show music's ID3 information.
- Time bar shows total and current playing time.
- Change play mode (repeat all, repeat directory, repeat single, sequential play, shuffle play).
- Return to previous chapter.
- Playback/pause.
- Go to next chapter.
- Enter file list page.
CD Source Menu
Touch the SOURCE MENU icon to access the CD track menu for manual track selection. Touch again to return to playback.
USB/SD Music/Video/Picture
Press USB/SD in the main menu. The music menu is similar to the disc music menu but may display more ID3 information (song name, singer).
Bluetooth Operation
Click the phone icon to enter the Bluetooth function interface.
Bluetooth Setting Menu
- Turn Bluetooth on and off. The icon changes color based on status (gray, white, blue when paired).
- Connect automatically.
- Answer automatically.
- PIN code: Default is "0000", can be changed.
- Default Bluetooth name for this unit: Boss Audio BV765B.

- Shows the number dialed. Press to delete wrong numbers.

- Press to hang up the phone call.
Bluetooth Phone Book
- Search for a name or phone number.
- Contact list.
Bluetooth Call History
- Sync phonebook.
- Show missed calls.
- Show dialed phone numbers.
- Show received phone numbers.
Bluetooth Music (A2DP)
- Previous song.
- Play/pause.
- Next song.
- Enter EQ setting menu.
Bluetooth Pair Device
Interface for pairing Bluetooth devices.
Photos
- Keypad: Enter number to select file.
- Previous picture.
- PLAY/PAUSE: Start or pause picture slideshow. Each picture displays for 5 seconds.
- Next picture.
- List: Enter file list.
- Navigate menu pages (next/previous).
- Select repeat mode.
- Random play.
- Enter video adjust page.
- Rotate picture 90 degrees.
- Zoom out/in the present picture.
Camera/Aux/AV Menu
- Front Camera: Turn on the switching interface of rear and front cameras simultaneously.
- Rear Camera: Rear view function. The rear view video signal displays automatically when reversing and returns to the last source when the car is moved out of reverse.
- AUX IN: External audio input. Connect an audio device to the 3.5mm jack on the front panel and touch the AUX IN icon.
- AV INPUT: External video and audio input. Connect a video and audio device to the RCA jacks and touch the AV INPUT icon.
