Button and Indicator Overview
Button Overview
- Unlock: Press and hold for five seconds to unlock the buttons; the device will emit a sound. Only this button works when locked.
- Manual Feed: When unlocked, press once to dispense one portion of food.
- Play: When unlocked, press once to replay the feeding recording.
- Reset: When unlocked, press and hold until the device emits a sound and the Wi-Fi indicator starts flashing.

Feeder Configuration
First Steps
Installation
- Remove the food bowl from the food tank. Turn the lid counter-clockwise to remove it. Gently pull the latches on both sides outwards and then upwards to remove the food tank.
- Insert the microSD card (card NOT included). To enable video recording, first insert the microSD card, then enable recording in the app: tap the device's camera icon in the top right corner > Video Settings.
- Note: The product supports standard microSD cards (such as Samsung and SanDisk) with a capacity of 16–256 GB and a speed class of 10 or higher.
- Before first use, format the microSD card in the Petlibro app under settings.
- To remove the microSD card, gently press it until it is released.
- For privacy reasons, video files on the microSD card can only be viewed in the Replay section of the Petlibro app. The microSD card cannot be read by a computer or phone.
- microSD cards with speeds higher than V30 are not supported.
1) Open the battery compartment; the microSD card slot is in the middle of the compartment.
2) Insert the microSD card in the direction shown. Push it in until it clicks into place. Do not use force or press excessively when inserting the microSD card.
Note: Insert the microSD card correctly. Incorrect insertion may cause malfunction.
- Connect the power.
- 1) Connect the 5V power adapter to an electrical outlet and the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the feeder.
- 2) The indicator lights will turn on automatically, indicating the feeder is powered on.
- 3) Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Install three D-type alkaline batteries (not included) in case of a power outage. Ensure the batteries are installed according to the positive (+) and negative (-) markings in the compartment.
- Note: Batteries are not included.
- To avoid interference with feeding during a sudden power outage, do not use batteries as the sole power source. Batteries should be used as a backup plan.
- To prevent battery leakage, remove them if the device will not be used for an extended period.
- When the feeder is powered solely by batteries, the Wi-Fi, camera, recording button, and reset button functions will be turned off to extend battery life. Feeding schedules will still operate normally.
- Place the moisture absorber bag in the inner box under the lid.
- Note: It is recommended to replace the moisture absorber bag every 15 days to prevent mold growth.
- Remove the moisture absorber bag before cleaning the lid.
- Install the food tank. Align the food tank with the notches on both sides of the tank base.
Adding Dry Food
6. Add dry pet food to the food tank.
- Note: To prevent uneven food dispensing, add enough food to the visible level.
- Recommended kibble size: 2–15 mm / 0.07–0.6 inches in diameter.
- Do not use canned, wet, or moist food.
7. Replace the lid. Turn the lid clockwise from the right rotation mark to the left rotation mark to lock it in place.
Attaching the Bowl
8. Attach the food bowl. Attach the bowl to the designated notches under the feeder base. Note: Before moving the feeder, press the bowl down to detach it from the feeder base. If there is food in the bowl, handle it carefully to avoid spills. Lift the feeder by holding the base, not other parts.
App Control
1. Download and install the PETLIBRO app.
Note: There are two similar apps available in your phone's app store: PETLIBRO and PETLIBRO LITE. Please ensure you download the "PETLIBRO" app (not "PETLIBRO LITE").
2. To complete the setup, choose one of the two options in the PETLIBRO app:

Maintenance and Care
Regular cleaning of the feeder is recommended for your pet's health.
Washable parts include: the lid, food tank, tank base, stainless steel bowl, and bowl holder. Clean other parts with a dry cloth.
Clean the lid, food tank, and tank base. Before removing the food tank, ensure it is empty to avoid spilling food.
1. Disconnect the power before cleaning.
- Turn the lid counter-clockwise to remove it, then remove the moisture absorber bag from the inner container under the lid.
- Gently pull the latches on both sides outwards, then upwards, to remove the food tank.
- Turn counter-clockwise to remove the tank base.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry the lid, tank, and tank base.
6. Reassemble them onto the device. Turn the tank base clockwise until it locks into place.
7. Install the tank and lid.
Cleaning the Food Bowl
1. Press the food bowl with the holder to remove it.
2. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry before reassembling onto the device.
