First Steps

Installation

  1. Remove the food bowl from the food tank. Turn the lid counter-clockwise to remove it. Gently pull the latches on both sides outwards and then upwards to remove the food tank.
  2. Insert the microSD card (card NOT included). To enable video recording, first insert the microSD card, then enable recording in the app: tap the device's camera icon in the top right corner > Video Settings.
    • Note: The product supports standard microSD cards (such as Samsung and SanDisk) with a capacity of 16–256 GB and a speed class of 10 or higher.
    • Before first use, format the microSD card in the Petlibro app under settings.
    • To remove the microSD card, gently press it until it is released.
    • For privacy reasons, video files on the microSD card can only be viewed in the Replay section of the Petlibro app. The microSD card cannot be read by a computer or phone.
    • microSD cards with speeds higher than V30 are not supported.

    1) Open the battery compartment; the microSD card slot is in the middle of the compartment.

    2) Insert the microSD card in the direction shown. Push it in until it clicks into place. Do not use force or press excessively when inserting the microSD card.

Note: Insert the microSD card correctly. Incorrect insertion may cause malfunction.

  3. Connect the power.
    • 1) Connect the 5V power adapter to an electrical outlet and the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the feeder.
    • 2) The indicator lights will turn on automatically, indicating the feeder is powered on.
    • 3) Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Install three D-type alkaline batteries (not included) in case of a power outage. Ensure the batteries are installed according to the positive (+) and negative (-) markings in the compartment.
      • Note: Batteries are not included.
      • To avoid interference with feeding during a sudden power outage, do not use batteries as the sole power source. Batteries should be used as a backup plan.
      • To prevent battery leakage, remove them if the device will not be used for an extended period.
      • When the feeder is powered solely by batteries, the Wi-Fi, camera, recording button, and reset button functions will be turned off to extend battery life. Feeding schedules will still operate normally.
  4. Place the moisture absorber bag in the inner box under the lid.
    • Note: It is recommended to replace the moisture absorber bag every 15 days to prevent mold growth.
    • Remove the moisture absorber bag before cleaning the lid.
  5. Install the food tank. Align the food tank with the notches on both sides of the tank base.

Adding Dry Food

6. Add dry pet food to the food tank.

7. Replace the lid. Turn the lid clockwise from the right rotation mark to the left rotation mark to lock it in place.
