Description
The GEM18I series is a highly reliable, 18W wall-mounted style single-output green medical adaptor. It is compact and convenient for carry. This product is equipped with an interchangeable AC plug (4 types available: European, USA, U.K., and Australian), making it suitable for use in major countries globally. The GEM18I is a Class II power unit (without FG), accepting an input range from 80VAC to 264VAC, satisfying the demands of various medical electrical devices. Its circuitry design meets international medical standards (2*MOPP) and features an ultra-low leakage current (<100μA), making it suitable for medical devices in direct electrical contact with patients.
With working efficiency up to 87% and extremely low no-load power consumption below 0.075W, the GEM18I complies with the latest USA energy regulation EISA 2007/DoE (Level VI) and EU ErP. This feature allows the adaptor to save energy in both operating and standby modes. The series is approved for international safety regulations and uses a 94V-0 flame-retardant plastic case to prevent electrical hazards.

The model number follows the format: GEM18I [Output Voltage]-[DC Plug Type]
- GEM18I: Series name
- [Output Voltage]: e.g., 05 for 5V, 09 for 9V, 12 for 12V, etc.

Derating Curve
This graph illustrates the adaptor's performance under varying ambient temperatures. The Y-axis represents Load (%) and the X-axis represents Ambient Temperature (Ta °C). The adaptor supports 100% load up to 40°C. Beyond 40°C, the load capacity decreases linearly, reaching 70% of the rated load at 50°C.
Static Characteristics
This graph shows the adaptor's performance across different input voltages. The Y-axis represents Load (%) and the X-axis represents Input Voltage (VAC). The adaptor maintains its full load capacity (100%) across a wide input voltage range, approximately from 90VAC to 264VAC.
