Overview
The MI 3109 EurotestPV Lite is an instrument designed for testing photovoltaic power plants. It enables all required electrical tests as per SIST/EN 62446, as well as more advanced measurements such as I-V characteristic measurement of photovoltaic modules and strings, calculation of results to STC values, measurement of DC and AC power from inverters, and efficiency measurement of individual components of the photovoltaic (PV) system.
The MI 3109 EurotestPV Lite is optimized for testing PV power plants and features an automatic measurement sequence function. With a single button press, it executes a sequence of tests required by SIST/EN 62446.

Photovoltaic Installations
Measurements on the DC side of PV installations:

- Uoc (open-circuit voltage) and Isc (short-circuit current).
- I-V characteristic of PV module and string.
- Irradiance and module temperature.
Measurements on the AC side of PV installations:
- Voltage, current, power.
- Calculation of PV module, inverter, and entire PV system efficiencies.
Electrical Installations
- Insulation resistance (EN 61557-2) up to 1000 V.
- Continuity of protective conductors and equipotential bonding with 200 mA current (EN 61557-4).
- Continuity of protective conductors and equipotential bonding with 7 mA current.
Key Features
- Insulation and I-U Curve Measurements in One Instrument: The MI 3109 EurotestPV Lite allows insulation testing with voltages up to 1000 V and I-U curve measurements for evaluating PV module performance and fault detection.
- Autotest: Performs the entire set of tests according to EN 62446 for PV modules with a single button press.
- Insulation Resistance Measurement: Measures insulation resistance between the positive output and earth, and between the negative output and earth.
- Open Circuit Voltage Measurement.
- Short Circuit Voltage Measurement.
- STC Value Calculation: Measured current and voltage values are converted to Standard Test Conditions (STC) values according to environmental conditions, enabling comparison of results from multiple measurements even if taken under different conditions.
- Efficiency Calculation: Utilizes 2 voltage and 2 current channels for simultaneous measurement of AC and DC parameters.
- PV Remote Unit: An optional unit for simultaneous measurement of solar irradiance and PV module temperature.
- Graphical I-U Curve Display: Displays the module's I-U curve on the instrument's LCD.
- Memory: Can store up to 1800 test results and up to 500 graphical results in internal memory.
- Bluetooth Communication: Connects with Android mobile devices via an optional Bluetooth dongle.
- Android Application: EuroLink PV app for data management.
- Software: EuroLink PRO software for recording, uploading, viewing, analyzing, and printing test results.
