Product Overview
The Metrel MI 3108 EurotestPV is a combined instrument designed for testing photovoltaic (PV) systems and low-voltage installations. It supports all installation tests according to EN 61557 standards and also performs essential tests and measurements on PV systems, including those required by EN 62446. The instrument can measure I-U characteristics, calculate STC values, and measure power and energy on both the DC and AC sides of the inverter. It is built to operate safely in demanding conditions with DC voltages up to 1000 V and currents up to 15 A, featuring a safety probe for secure disconnection.

PV System Parameters Diagram
A diagram illustrates the connection of PV system components: Solar Module (DC Input) connected to a DC Disconnect, which then connects to the Inverter (DC/AC Inverter). The Inverter's AC Output is connected to the Main consumer unit. Measurements are shown for Uoc, Isc, PmpP, and I-V curve on the DC side, and Power on the AC side. Irradiance (W/m²) and Cell Temperature (°C) are external inputs affecting the Solar Module.
