CAR:LINK Owner's Card Features

The CAR:LINK system provides remote control and monitoring of your vehicle via a smartphone app. Below are the functions and indicators:

• START Button: [▶️ Start] Sends a START command to your remote starter. The engine starts and runs for a preset time, with a countdown timer displayed.
• STOP Button: [⏹️ Stop] Sends a STOP command to your remote starter. The engine shuts down, and the runtime status resets to 00:00:00.
• LOCK Button: [? Lock] Locks and/or arms your vehicle. Requires a power door lock system. The door lock status updates upon completion.
• UNLOCK Button: [? Unlock] Unlocks and/or disarms your vehicle. Requires a power door lock system. The door unlock status updates upon completion.
• Network Status Icon: [? Network Connected] or [? Network Disconnected] Indicates if the CL6 unit is connected to the network (GREEN) or not (GREY).
• Battery Level Icon: [? Battery Level] Displays the vehicle's current battery level.
• Locate Vehicle Button: [? Locate Vehicle] Allows you to view your current vehicle location.
• Auxiliary Functions Button: [⚙️ Auxiliary Functions] Provides access to auxiliary functions such as Motorized Lift Gate, Trunk Release, Power Sliding Doors, Rear Defrost, and more. Consult your retailer for details.

How to Activate Your New CAR:LINK

Follow these steps to set up and activate your CAR:LINK system:

Step 1: App & Account Setup

1. Download the CL6 smartphone app.
2. Launch the CL6 app on your device.
3. Click "Create an Account", fill in the required fields, and click "Create your Account".
4. Check your email for a message from "MYCARCONTROLS".
5. Click the link in the email to activate your account and set your password.
6. Create a secure password and activate your account.
7. Log into the app using your email address and new secure password.

Step 2: Add A Device/Vehicle

1. On the "My Cars" screen, click the (+) sign in the bottom right corner to add your device/vehicle.
2. Enter the 16-digit "Serial Number" found in the upper right corner of this document (SN: XXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXX).
3. Click "Submit the Code".
