05 Settings

5.1 Key Setting

5.1.1 Factory Reset

To restore all parameters to factory settings, hold the [down arrow] button and turn on the device. A short beep will confirm the reset.

5.1.2 Fast Setting

Press the SET button lightly to enter quick setup mode. The SV screen will display the current setting value and flash. Use the Increase [up arrow] or Decrease [down arrow] buttons to change the value. Holding these buttons changes the value rapidly. Press SET again to save and exit. Settings are also saved if no operation occurs for 10 seconds.

5.1.3 Normal Setting

Hold the SET button for 2 seconds to enter setting mode. The PV screen will display the menu code (e.g., "HS" for Humidity Setting Value), and the SV screen will show the corresponding value. Press SET to cycle through menu items. Use the Increase [up arrow] or Decrease [down arrow] buttons to adjust values. Values are automatically saved when switching to another menu item via SET. Press and hold SET for 2 seconds to save all settings and exit to normal working mode. The controller also exits if no operation occurs for 30 seconds.

5.2 Flowchart of the Settings

The settings process involves entering parameter setting mode by pressing the SET key for over 2 seconds. Users can then adjust values for Humidity Setting Value (HS), Humidification Difference Value (HD), Dehumidification Difference Value (DD), Alarm High Humidity Limit (AH), Alarm Low Humidity Limit (AL), Dehumidification Delay Time (PT), and Humidity Calibration (CA). The device returns to "Working normally" mode after 30 seconds of inactivity or by pressing the SET key for over 2 seconds.

06 Basic Operations

6.1 Instructions for Humidity Control (HS,HD,DD)

The PV screen displays the current humidity. The controller automatically switches between humidification and dehumidification modes.

Humidification: If measured humidity (PV) is less than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS) minus the Humidification Differential Value (HD), the equipment enters humidification state. The red LED turns on, and the WORK1 output socket activates.

Humidification Stop: If measured humidity (PV) is greater than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS), the red LED turns off, and the WORK1 output socket deactivates.

Dehumidification: If measured humidity (PV) is greater than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS) plus the Dehumidification Differential Value (DD), the equipment enters dehumidification state. The green LED turns on, and the WORK2 output socket activates. If the green LED blinks, it indicates dehumidification delay protection is active, and the WORK2 socket is off.

Dehumidification Stop: If measured humidity (PV) is less than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS), the green LED turns off, and the WORK2 output socket deactivates.

Example: With HS=50.0%RH, HD=5.0%RH, DD=8.0%RH:

  • If PV ≥ 58.0%RH (HS+DD), dehumidification starts (green LED on, WORK2 on).
  • If PV ≤ 55.0%RH (HS), dehumidification stops (green LED off, WORK2 off).
  • If PV ≤ 45.0%RH (HS-HD), humidification starts (red LED on, WORK1 on).
  • If PV ≥ 50.0%RH (HS), humidification stops (red LED off, WORK1 off).

Note: When powering on or exiting settings, the controller operates based on the current PV relative to HS for dehumidification, and PV relative to HS-HD for humidification.

6.2 High/Low Humidity Alarm (AH,AL)

The equipment will alarm if the measured humidity (PV) meets the alarm conditions:

  • High Humidity Alarm: If PV ≥ AH, the PV screen alternates between AH and the current humidity. The buzzer sounds "bi-bi-Biii" until PV drops below AH. Pressing any button silences the alarm.
  • Low Humidity Alarm: If PV ≤ AL, the PV screen alternates between AL and the current humidity. The buzzer sounds "bi-bi-Biii" until PV rises above AL. Pressing any button silences the alarm.

Note: The setting value for AL should be less than the setting value for AH.

6.3 Dehumidification Delay Time (PT)

The dehumidification function will not start immediately if the measured value is larger than the sum of the set humidity value and the dehumidification return difference. Dehumidification will commence after the set delay time. It starts immediately if the interval between two adjacent dehumidification cycles is longer than the delay time, and after the delay time if it's shorter. The delay timer starts after the last dehumidification cycle is completed.

Note: Delay time is not judged when powering on or exiting the setting state.

6.4 Humidity Calibration (CA)

If the measured humidity differs from the standard, you can calibrate the device by adjusting a correction value. The calibrated humidity is calculated as: Measured humidity value + Calibration value.

07 Sensor Fault Alarm

If the humidity sensor experiences a short circuit or open circuit, the controller enters probe fault mode and stops operation. The buzzer will sound, and the screen will display "ER". Pressing any key will stop the buzzer. The controller returns to normal working state once the malfunction is resolved.
