5.1.1 Factory Reset
To restore all parameters to factory settings, hold the ⬇️ button and turn on the device. A short buzzer beep will confirm the reset.
5.1.2 Fast Setting
Press the SET button lightly to enter quick set-up mode. The SV screen will display the current setting value and flash. Use the ⬆️ or ⬇️ buttons to change the value (hold for rapid adjustment). Press the SET button again to save settings and exit the setting mode. The controller will also automatically save settings and exit if there is no operation for 10 seconds.
5.1.3 Normal Setting
To enter setting mode while the controller is operating normally, hold the SET button for 2 seconds. The PV screen will display "HS" (the first menu item), and the SV screen will show the corresponding setting value. Press the SET button to switch between menu items. Use the ⬆️ or ⬇️ buttons to change the value. The value is saved automatically when you switch to another menu item by pressing SET.
Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds to save settings and exit the setting mode. The controller will also exit setting mode and return to normal working mode if there is no operation for 30 seconds.
5.2 Flowchart of the Settings
The settings flowchart illustrates the parameter adjustment process:
- Initiate by pressing the SET key for over 2 seconds to enter parameter setting mode.
- Adjustable parameters include: HS (Humidity Setting Value), HD (Humidification Difference Value), DD (Dehumidification Difference Value), AH (Alarm High Humidity Limit), AL (Alarm Low Humidity Limit), PT (Dehumidification Delay Time), and CA (Humidity Calibration).
- Each parameter's value can be modified using the SET, ⬆️, and ⬇️ buttons.
- The system returns to "Working normally" if no key is pressed for 30 seconds or if the SET key is pressed for over 2 seconds.
Basic Operations
6.1 Instructions for Humidity Control Setting (HS, HD, DD)
When operating normally, the PV screen displays the current humidity. The device automatically recognizes and switches between humidification and dehumidification modes based on the following logic:
- Humidification Activation: If the measured Humidity (PV) is less than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS) minus the Humidification Differential Value (HD), the equipment enters humidification state. The red indicator light turns on, and the WORK1 output socket is activated.
- Humidification Deactivation: If the measured Humidity (PV) is greater than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS), the red indicator light turns off, and the WORK1 output socket is deactivated.
- Dehumidification Activation: If the measured Humidity (PV) is greater than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS) plus the Dehumidification Differential Value (DD), the equipment enters dehumidification state. The green indicator light turns on, and the WORK2 output socket is activated.
- Dehumidification Delay Protection: If the green indicator light blinks, the device is in the dehumidification delay protection state, and the WORK2 output socket remains off.
- Dehumidification Deactivation: If the measured Humidity (PV) is less than or equal to the Humidity Setting Value (HS), the green indicator light turns off, and the WORK2 output socket is deactivated.
Example: Let HS = 50.0%RH, HD = 5.0%RH, and DD = 8.0%RH.
- If PV ≥ 58.0%RH (HS+DD), the device enters dehumidification state (Green LED ON, WORK2 ON).
- If PV ≤ 55.0%RH (HS), dehumidification stops (Green LED OFF, WORK2 OFF).
- If PV ≤ 45.0%RH (HS-HD), the device enters humidification state (Red LED ON, WORK1 ON).
- If PV ≥ 50.0%RH (HS), humidification stops (Red LED OFF, WORK1 OFF).
Note: The differential values for humidification or dehumidification are not evaluated when the device is powered on or exiting the setting state. For instance, upon startup with HS = 50.0%RH, if the measured humidity (PV) is greater than 50.0%RH, it will enter the dehumidification state. If PV is less than or equal to 50.0%RH, dehumidification will stop, returning to normal humidity control mode.
6.2 High/Low Humidity Alarm (AH, AL)
The equipment will trigger an alarm if the measured humidity (PV) is greater than or equal to the set value for the high humidity alarm (AH). The PV screen will alternate between displaying the AH set value and the current humidity. A buzzer will sound "bi-bi-Biii" until the measured humidity (PV) drops below the AH set value. The alarm can be silenced by pressing any button on the equipment.
Similarly, the equipment will alarm if the measured humidity (PV) is less than or equal to the set value for the low humidity alarm (AL). The PV screen will alternate between displaying the AL set value and the current humidity. The buzzer will sound "bi-bi-Biii" until the measured humidity (PV) rises above the AL set value. This alarm can also be silenced by pressing any button.
Note: The setting value for the low humidity alarm (AL) should always be less than the setting value for the high humidity alarm (AH).
6.3 Dehumidification Delay Time (PT)
In dehumidification mode, the equipment may not start immediately on the first instance if the measured value is larger than the sum of the set humidity value and the dehumidification return difference. It will commence dehumidification only after the set delay time has elapsed. If the time interval between two consecutive dehumidification cycles is longer than the set delay time, dehumidification will start immediately. If the interval is shorter, it will start after the delay time. The delay timer begins when the last dehumidification cycle is completed. Note: The delay time is not evaluated upon power-on or when exiting the setting state.
6.4 Humidity Calibration (CA)
If the measured humidity deviates from the standard humidity, you can calibrate the device. This is done by adjusting a correction value to align the measured humidity with the standard humidity. The calibrated humidity is calculated as: Calibrated Humidity = Measured Humidity Value + Calibration Value.
Sensor Fault Alarm
If the humidity sensor experiences a short circuit or open circuit, the controller will enter probe fault mode and cease operation. The buzzer will sound, and the screen will display "ER". Pressing any key will stop the buzzer, and the controller will return to normal working state once all malfunctions are resolved.
