How to Wear
Try different ear tip sizes (S, M, L) for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance. Insert the earbuds into your ears and adjust for a secure fit.
First Time Use
Place the earbuds into the charging case to begin.
Power On & Connect
Open the charging case. The earbuds will power on automatically and enter pairing mode.
On your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JBL WAVE BEAM" to connect.
Fast Pair is available for Android™ 6.0+ devices.
Dual Connect
Stereo Mode: Use both earbuds for immersive sound.
Mono Mode: Use either the left or right earbud individually.
Controls
Left Earbud:
- Tap: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
- Double Tap: Next track.
- Triple Tap: Previous track.
- Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others).
Right Earbud:
- Tap: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
- Double Tap: Next track.
- Triple Tap: Previous track.
- Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others).

VoiceAware
Adjust ambient sound awareness levels via the JBL Headphones App to control how much of the outside world you hear.
Power Off
Place the earbuds in the charging case to power them off.
Manual Setup
Connect to a new Bluetooth device: Follow the standard Bluetooth pairing process.
Factory Reset: With earbuds in the case, press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for 5 seconds until they reset.
Do More With The App
Explore features like Ambient Sound Control (Ambient Aware, TalkThru), customize gestures, and adjust the equalizer for personalized audio settings.
Charging
Place earbuds in the charging case.
Connect the charging case to a power source using the USB-C cable.
Charging Time: Less than 2 hours from empty.
Quick Charge: 10 minutes of charging provides 2 hours of playback.
