What's in the Box

The box contains: JBL Wave Beam earbuds, a charging case, multiple sizes of ear tips (S/M/L), a USB charging cable, and a quick start guide.

How to Wear

Step 1: Fit

Try different sizes of ear tips (S/M/L) to ensure a perfect fit and optimal audio performance.

Step 2: Insertion

Insert the earbuds into your ears, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.

First Time Use

Open the charging case. Remove the earbuds. The earbuds are now ready for pairing.

Power On & Connect

Power On

Open the charging case to power on the earbuds.

Connect via Bluetooth

Open the charging case. The earbuds will enter pairing mode. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "JBL WAVE BEAM" to connect. For Android 6.0+ devices, pairing may also tie the earbuds to your Google Account.

Dual Connect

Use both earbuds in Stereo Mode for immersive sound, or use a single earbud in Mono Mode.

Controls

Left Earbud (L)

Tap once: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
Tap twice: Next track.
Tap three times: Previous track.
Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others).

Right Earbud (R)

Tap once: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
Tap twice: Next track.
Tap three times: Previous track.
Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Others).

*Enable advanced controls by connecting your JBL WAVE BEAM to the JBL Headphones App.

VoiceAware

VoiceAware allows you to control how much of your own voice you hear during calls by adjusting the level of ambient sound.

Power Off

Place the earbuds back into the charging case to power them off.

Manual Setup

Connect to a New Bluetooth Device

Ensure earbuds are in pairing mode. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "JBL WAVE BEAM".

Factory Reset

Place both earbuds in the charging case. With the case open, press and hold the button on the back of the case for more than 10 seconds until the LEDs flash blue.

Enhance your listening experience with the JBL Headphones App. Customize gestures, adjust EQ settings, and manage features like Ambient Sound Control and VoiceAware.

Charging

Place the earbuds in the charging case. Connect the charging case to a USB power source using the provided USB cable. A 10-minute charge provides approximately 2 hours of music playtime. A full charge takes less than 2 hours.

End user must follow the specific operating instructions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. The device is designed to meet EU radio wave exposure requirements, with a SAR limit of 2W/kg averaged over ten grams of tissue. The highest reported SAR value is 0.221W/kg.
