Notice for Use
To set up your monitor, place it face down on a soft surface. Align the stand assembly bracket to the monitor and insert the base until it locks. For VESA mount installation, refer to "Wall Mounting (Optional)". Do not touch the screen area, as it is glass and can be damaged by pressure.

Comfort and Accessibility
Good ergonomic practices are essential for comfort and productivity. Arrange your workspace and equipment to suit your needs. Position the monitor for comfortable viewing: maintain an appropriate viewing distance (approx. 1.5x screen diagonal), adjust height so the top of the screen is at or slightly below eye-level, and tilt for optimal screen content appearance. Adjusting Your Monitor Image
Using Direct Access Controls
These controls adjust functions without the On-Screen Display (OSD):
- Input Source: Switches video input (HDMI, VGA).
- Exit: Returns to previous OSD level.
- Auto Adjustment: Optimizes image (size, position, phase, clock) for analog (VGA) input.
- Increase: Moves to the next menu item or increases value.
- Brightness: Direct access to brightness adjustment. Press and hold for 3 seconds to enable/disable Low Blue Light.
- Decrease: Moves to the previous menu item or decreases value.
- Menu: Accesses the OSD menu.
- Enter: Confirms selection or enters sub-menus. Press and hold for 10 seconds to lock/unlock the OSD menu.
Using the On-Screen Display (OSD) Controls
The OSD menu allows detailed adjustments. Use the control buttons (Menu, Enter, Increase, Decrease, Exit) to navigate and adjust settings like Brightness, Contrast, DCR, Display Mode, Scaling Mode, Color settings (Red, Green, Blue), Low Blue Light, and input selection (VGA, HDMI).

Note: Extreme Mode (response time) may reduce display quality. Low Blue Light Mode reduces blue light content.
Selecting a Supported Display Mode
The computer controls the display mode. Refer to your computer's documentation. The monitor supports various resolutions and refresh rates, optimized at the factory. The native resolution is 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. For CRT users switching to LCD, ensure the system is configured to a supported mode before switching.

Understanding Power Management
Power management activates after a period of inactivity. States include On, Standby/Suspend (Amber indicator, blank screen), and Off. Pressing a key or moving the mouse restores operation from Standby/Suspend. Power consumption details are provided:

Caring for Your Monitor
Turn off power before maintenance. Do not use water directly, solvents, abrasives, or flammable materials. Avoid touching the screen with sharp objects. Do not use anti-static solutions. Clean gently with a soft cloth dampened with water, or a damp cloth with mild detergent for grease marks.
Detaching the Monitor Base and Stand
Place the monitor face down on a soft surface. Remove screws to detach the base and stand.
Wall Mounting (Optional)
To wall mount, disconnect power, lay the display face down, remove the base and stand. Attach a VESA compatible mounting bracket (100mm x 100mm, M4 x 10 mm screws) to the monitor's VESA holes. Then, attach the display to the wall using the wall-mounting kit instructions. Ensure the wall mount bracket is UL Listed and supports a minimum weight of 8kg.

Manual Image Setup
For VGA (analog) input, if automatic setup is insufficient: After warming up the monitor for 15 minutes, access OSD, select Manual, then Clock or Phase adjustment. Clock adjusts horizontal stripes/width; Phase adjusts horizontal disturbances. Press Enter to save.
Manually Installing the Monitor Driver
For Windows 7: Download driver from http://support.lenovo.com/docs/C22_20. Open Display Properties, go to Advanced Settings > Monitor tab, click Properties, Driver tab, Update Driver, Browse computer, Pick from list, Hard Disk. Browse to the driver folder (e.g., X:\Monitor Drivers\Windows 7), select C22-20.inf, then C22-20. Restart system.
For Windows 10: Similar steps as Windows 7. Download driver from http://support.lenovo.com/docs/C22_20. Access Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Display. Go to Advanced Settings > Monitor tab, click Properties, Driver tab, Update Driver, Browse computer, Pick from list, Hard Disk. Browse to the driver folder (e.g., X:\Monitor Drivers\Windows 10), select C22-20.inf, then C22-20. Restart system.
Lenovo recommends 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz or 640 x 480 at 60 Hz for LCD monitors.
