The GOOLOO GP4000 jump starter features several key components:
- Indicator: Displays battery level and status.
- Power Switch: Turns the device on/off.
- Jump Cable Socket: Connects the smart jumper cables.
- USB-A Output Port: For charging mobile devices.
- Type-C Input/Output Port: For charging the jump starter itself and other devices.
- DC Output 15V/10A: Provides power for 12V devices.
Operation Instructions
Battery Indicator
Press the power switch to check the battery power. The indicator will blink one by one during charging. Different numbers of solid indicators show different battery power levels:

The indicator will blink one by one during the period of charging. Different numbers of solid indicators show different battery power levels. Once fully charged, all indicators will turn off automatically when the charging process has finished.
How to Charge the GP4000
Use the included Type-C cable and a 5V wall charger (phone charger) or car charger. (Note: Wall charger and car charger are not included.)
Only via the QC3.0 wall charger or car charger can achieve the quick charge input function. (QC3.0 wall charger or car charger are not included separately.)
How to Start a Vehicle
Make sure the internal battery is over 60% charged (check the battery indicator: 3 bars). If the unit has not been used in more than two months, you should charge it first.
- Connect the smart jumper cable fully into the jump socket and make sure the two indicators on the jumper cable are off.
- Connect the clamp: the positive (+) battery terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Check the indicator lights on the jumper cable and operate following the instructions below:
Green Light On and Solid:
Indicates the connection is correct and the circuit is working. You can start the vehicle directly.
Red Light On and Solid with Beeping:
Indicates reverse polarity. You need to connect the clamps in step 2. If the Green Light is on and solid, you can start the vehicle directly.
- When the Green Light is on and solid, start the vehicle.
- When the vehicle starts, remove the jumper cable from the jump starter and vehicle battery.
15V/10A DC Output (12-16.8V, 150W Max)
Cigarette Lighter Socket Output
Connect the cigarette lighter socket adapter to the 15V/10A DC output port. The cigarette lighter socket adapter is included.
5.5*2.1mm DC Output
Connect 12V devices that need to be powered by the 12V DC port. Please check if the devices support 12V DC input. If the devices do not support 15V/10A DC input, you will not be able to use the DC output.
Protection Mode
Short Circuit/Overload Protection: If the 15V/10A DC port is short circuit or overloaded (load power >150W), this unit will shut down automatically for self-protection. Remove the external device and recharge this unit to reset the protection mode.
How to Charge Your Phone or Tablet
- Plug the charging cable into the USB-A port and your mobile phone.
- Press the power switch, the unit can identify your device and charge it automatically. The battery indicators will be lit up when charging.
How to Turn On/Off the LED Flashlight
Long press the power switch for 3 seconds to start the LED light. Short press to switch between modes (Normal, Strobe, SOS, Off). If you press slightly, it will turn off.

- What is the operating temperature of this unit and how to store it?
A: This unit is a lithium polymer battery, operating temperature is -20~60°C / -4~140°F. If the ambient temperature is higher than 60°C/140°F, the internal construction of the lithium-ion cells will be damaged and may swell and become unsafe. Do not store the device in vehicle which parked in hot weather for long periods of time. - How to start a vehicle with this unit?
A: Please refer to the instructions about "How to Start a 12V Vehicle." - Why do Green and Red light on the jumper cable blink alternately?
A: The smart jumper cable has an Over-Start Protection function. If you start the vehicle continuously for more than 4 times in 2 minutes, the jumper cable will turn into Over-Start Protection (Green and Red light on the jumper cable will blink alternately). Meanwhile, there will be no output of battery clamps. You can disconnect the jumper cable from the jumper starter, the Over-start protection will be removed. - How do you know if this unit is connected to the vehicle correctly?
A: When the battery clamps connect to the vehicle battery, the indicator on the jumper cable shines a steady green light, it means it's connected correctly. If red light is on and solid with beeping, it means it's reverse connection. - Should I do if this unit can't start a vehicle?
A: Recharge this unit fully, and try to use the "BOOST" button on the jumper cable, wait the GREEN light on and solid, then start the vehicle within 30s. If it still does not work, contact GOOLOO at fiona@gooloo.com (Attach your order ID). - What should I do if this unit can't be charged?

A: This product may not be able to charge for the devices that need weak current like iPhone 6 series, headphone, smart watch etc. Because this unit has a minimum load current (200mA), it will be automatically off after 30s if the load current is less than 200mA.

- Only use the jumper cable attached and use the correct polarity.
- Do not let this unit over-discharge (do not let the battery run to empty), please charge it regularly; it would be best to recharge it every 3 months.
- Make sure the blue plug of the jumper cable is plugged fully into the jumper socket, otherwise, the blue plug could melt.
- Make sure the battery clamps are clean before starting and make sure the battery clamps are well connected. If the battery terminals and the vehicle are dirty or corroded, the output power of the unit will be lessened.
- Do not start the vehicle continuously more than four times within 2 minutes. If the vehicle can't be started at one time, please wait at least 30 seconds to restart it.
- Do not connect the two clamps together.
- Do not connect the red clamp to the negative battery terminal and the black clamp to the positive battery terminal. (Reverse Polarity Protection).
- Only use this unit to start the vehicle when the battery indicator is more than 2 bars.
- Do not start the vehicle immediately after successfully starting the engine. Remove the product from the vehicle battery after starting the engine. If not, it may lead to damage.
- Do not recharge this product immediately after using it to start the vehicle, please cool it down for 30 minutes before charging.
- Do not allow the product to become wet and Do Not immerse in water.
- Do not operate the product in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Do not modify or disassemble the unit. Only a repair technician may repair this unit.
- Do not drop the product. If the unit has received a sharp blow or is damaged in any other way, a qualified battery technician should check it.
- Do not expose product to extreme heat or fire.
- Do not crush the unit. If the unit has received a sharp blow or is damaged in any other way, a qualified battery technician should check it.
- Do not store in locations where the temperature may exceed 60°C/140°F.
- Under extreme conditions, the battery may leak. If a liquid is leaking from the unit, Do Not handle bare hands. If contact occurs, wash the affected area with soap and water immediately. If the liquid contacts to eyes, rinse eyes with cold running water for at least 10 minutes and get medical treatment immediately.
- The unit contains the lithium-based batteries. At end of life, dispose the unit according to local regulation.
