1. Introduction

The DrivePro Body 30 is a high-performance body camera designed for professional use. It features Full HD 1080P recording, a 130° wide-angle lens with an F2.0 aperture, built-in Wi-Fi, and GPS capabilities. It is ruggedized with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and meets MIL-STD-810G standards for shock resistance. The device supports up to 64GB of storage and offers long battery life.

The device uses LED indicators to show its status:

3-3 Charging

To charge the DrivePro Body 30:

  1. Connect the 3.5mm to USB cable to the device's 3.5mm port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power source (e.g., USB adapter, computer).
  3. The LED indicator will turn solid yellow while charging and turn off or blue when fully charged.

4. Basic Operation

4-1 Powering On/Off

To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds until the LED indicator turns blue.

To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button until the LED indicator flashes blue and then turns off.

4-2 Recording Video

To Start Recording: Press the Record Button. The LED indicator will turn solid red.

To Stop Recording: Press the Record Button again. The LED indicator will return to its previous state (e.g., solid blue).

4-3 Taking Photos

While the device is on, press and hold the Record Button for approximately 5 seconds to take a photo. The LED indicator may flash briefly.

6. DrivePro™ Body App

The DrivePro™ Body App allows you to manage your DrivePro Body 30 from your smartphone or tablet.

6-1 Downloading and Installing the App

  1. Search for "DrivePro Body" on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Download and install the app on your compatible iOS or Android device.

6-2 Connecting to the Device

  1. Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your DrivePro Body 30.
  2. Open the DrivePro Body App.
  3. Tap "Connect to Device" or a similar option.
  4. On your mobile device, connect to the DrivePro Body 30's Wi-Fi network (SSID format: DPB30_XXXXXX, Password: 12345678).
  5. The app will then connect to the camera.

6-3 Live View and Settings

The app provides a live view from the camera. You can adjust various settings, including:

View, download, and delete recorded videos and photos directly from the app.

6-5 Additional App Settings

The app also allows for device formatting, firmware updates, and setting preferences like date/time format (YY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YY, DD/MM/YY) and time format (24-hour, 12-hour).

7. DrivePro™ Body Toolbox

The DrivePro™ Body Toolbox is a Windows-based software application for managing your DrivePro Body 30 recordings and settings.

7-1 Installation

Download the latest version of the DrivePro™ Body Toolbox from the Transcend website: www.transcend-info.com/downloads. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

7-2 Features

The Toolbox allows you to:

Organize, play back, and export video files. You can filter files by date and time.

7-4 Settings

Configure various device parameters, including date/time formats, Wi-Fi settings, and LED behavior.

7-5 Firmware Update

Connect the DrivePro Body 30 to your computer via USB and use the Toolbox to check for and install firmware updates.

8. Docking Station

The optional docking station simplifies charging and data transfer.

Setup:

  1. Connect the docking station to a power source using the provided adapter.
  2. Connect the docking station to your computer via USB 3.0.
  3. Place the DrivePro Body 30 into the docking station.
  4. The device will automatically start charging and can be accessed via USB 3.0 or through the DrivePro™ Body Toolbox.

Accessing the Device via Docking Station:

  1. Connect the docking station to your computer.
  2. The DrivePro Body 30 will appear as a removable drive.
  3. Alternatively, access the device's IP address (default: 10.10.0.100) via a web browser to manage settings. The default login is admin/12345678.

14. Recycling and Battery Disposal

Product Recycling (WEEE): This product is covered by European Directive 2002/96/EC. It is designed with recyclable components. Please dispose of it separately from household waste according to local regulations for electrical and electronic products to prevent negative environmental and health impacts.

Battery Disposal: The product contains a built-in rechargeable battery covered by European Directive 2006/66/EC. Do not dispose of batteries with normal household waste. Follow local regulations for separate battery collection. Incorrect battery replacement carries a risk of explosion; dispose of used batteries according to instructions. Attempting to remove non-exchangeable batteries will void the warranty.

15. Warranty Information

Transcend offers a Two-year Limited Warranty for this product. The warranty covers failures under normal use within two years from the original purchase date. Transcend will repair or replace the product at its discretion. Software, digital content, LCD panels, rechargeable batteries, and accessories are not covered. The warranty is voided by accidents, abuse, misuse, alteration, unauthorized repair, or physical damage. Proof of purchase is required for warranty service. 16. GNU General Public License (GPL)

Firmware and software incorporated into this product may be licensed under the GPL. Source code for GPL Software may be downloaded or obtained from Customer Support within three years of purchase. Users may copy, redistribute, and modify the GPL Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License. GPL Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty. Transcend does not provide support for GPL software.

17. End-User License Agreement (EULA)

By using the software and/or firmware ("Licensed Software") with the Transcend product, you agree to the terms of this End-User License Agreement. Transcend grants a personal, non-exclusive license to use the Licensed Software. Intellectual property rights belong to Transcend or its suppliers. Users may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software, nor distribute or transfer it. Transcend disclaims all warranties and limits liability for the Licensed Software.

18. FCC Compliance

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits.
