Step 1: Download and Install the DJI Mimo App
To begin, download and install the DJI Mimo app on your smartphone. You can scan the QR code or visit the following URL:
The app provides tutorials and control functions for your gimbal.
Step 2: Charge the Gimbal
Connect the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 to a power source using the included USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter. The gimbal will indicate when it is charging.

Step 3: Unfold the Gimbal
Unfold the gimbal by gently pulling the arm outwards and rotating it into the ready position. The gimbal is designed for quick deployment.

Step 5: Connect via Bluetooth
Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. Open the DJI Mimo app and follow the on-screen prompts to connect to the Osmo Mobile 6. A successful connection is typically confirmed with a checkmark icon (✔️).

Gimbal Controls and Operation
Power and Basic Movement
Power Button: Press and hold for approximately 1.5 seconds to turn the gimbal on or off (?).
Joystick: Use the joystick (?️) to control the pan and tilt movements of the gimbal for smooth camera adjustments.

Mode Switching

Step 6: Extend the Rod
