Quick Start Guide
Your Miroir M700S Projector
This section details the ports and features of your Miroir M700S Projector.
- A Audio Out (3.5mm): ? Optional. Connect an external speaker or headphones.
- B USB Media Reader Jack: ? Plug a USB stick into the port to play movies or share pictures.
- C HDMI Video Input: ? Connect an HDMI cable to a device that supports HDMI video output.
- D Reset Button: ↩️
- E Power Port: ? Connect the included AC Adapter for power. DC In: 19VDC@3.7A.
- F RJ45 Connector: ? Connect to the internet.
- G Power Button: ? Turn the projector on/off.
- H Rubber Foot Pads: Provide stability and proper airflow to cooling vents.
- I Kickstand: Used for adjusting the image angle.
- J Tripod Mount: For mounting the projector on a tripod.
- K Cooling Vent: ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do not cover or block airflow to this vent.
Remote Control
Overview of the remote control buttons:
- A Power: ? Turns the projector on or off.
- B Main Screen: ? Returns to the main screen or home menu.
- C Volume +/-: ? Adjusts the audio volume.
- D Focus Adjust: ? Adjusts the image focus.
- E Direction: ➡️ Navigate menus (Up, Down, Left, Right).
- F Confirm: ✅ Selects an option or confirms an action.
- G Back: ⬅️ Goes back to the previous screen or menu.
- H Projector Settings: ⚙️ Accesses projector settings.
Connecting Your Projector with a Cable
Connect your devices to the Miroir M700S projector using various cable options:
Connect To Your Laptop HDMI
Use an HDMI cable (included) to connect the projector's HDMI input (C) to your laptop's HDMI output. An HDMI adapter may be required for your device (not included).
Connect To Your Device
Connect devices like Blu-ray players or game consoles using an HDMI cable (included) from the device's HDMI output to the projector's HDMI input (C).
Connect To Your MacBook USB-C
Use an HDMI cable (included) and a USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter (not included) to connect your MacBook to the projector's HDMI input (C). ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Not all USB-C cables support video output.
Connect To Your Apple Device Lightning
An Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter (required for iPhone, not included) and an HDMI cable (included) are needed to connect your iPhone or iPad to the projector's HDMI input (C).
Connect To Your Streaming Stick HDMI
Connect your streaming stick to the projector's HDMI input (C) using an HDMI cable (included). A USB Power Cable (if required by the streaming stick) may also be needed.
Connecting Your Projector Wirelessly
WIFI Setup
- Connect the M700S to your WIFI network. Open Settings, select WIFI, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Update the projector if prompted.
- Open the SYNQ TV App.
- Connect to available streaming services (not included). A streaming service subscription is required to stream content.
- Once logged into your streaming account, begin streaming.
- Live TV and Apple TV+ are not currently supported. Please check the Miroir website for release date information.
Screen Mirroring
- YouTube and TikTok content playback is supported. Netflix and other streaming services are not supported due to Digital Rights Management (DRM).
- Connect your iOS, Android, Laptop, or Tablet wirelessly using the device mirroring option.
- Local photos and videos captured by your device support Screen Mirroring.
- Some applications, such as YouTube and TikTok, support screen mirroring because they are not restricted by DRM.
Adjust the Projector Image
Keystone (under Settings)
The projector features auto-keystone correction for up to 6 points, or you can manually adjust the keystone setting. ?
Zoom (under Settings)
Use the zoom feature to adjust the image size based on the projector's distance from the projection surface. ?
Troubleshooting
The image is blurry
- ✔️ Adjust the projected image's focus using the remote control's focus adjust button (D) within the settings menu.
- ✔️ Ensure the surface you are projecting onto is smooth and non-reflective.
- ✔️ Verify that the projector's lens is clean and free of any debris.
The image is not square
- ✔️ Check that the projector's lens is parallel to your projection surface.
- ✔️ Ensure your projection surface is flat.
No sound
- ? Check the volume control on your source device to confirm it is turned up.
- ✔️ If you are using an adapter, verify that the adapter supports audio output.
- ✔️ Ensure the HDMI cable is fully plugged into both the projector's HDMI input (C) and the source device's HDMI output.
No Signal Message
- ? Check that you are using the correct cable and/or adapter for your connection.
- ✔️ If using a digital AV adapter, ensure it is an authentic Apple adapter and is compatible with your specific model phone or tablet.
- ✔️ If connected to a laptop or computer, check your computer's display settings to ensure a multiple display option is selected (e.g., "mirror these displays").
- ✔️ Confirm that your source device supports HDMI video output.
Projector will not power on, or stay powered on
- ? Check that the AC Power adapter is securely plugged into the projector's power port (E) and into a working wall outlet.
