Quick Start Guide
Important Information
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: The Battery and Charging circuit has been suspended in shipping to protect the battery and provide maximum performance. To activate the charging circuit, plug your AC Adapter into an outlet and the projector, open the lens cover, wait for the lens to project the setup guide, close the lens cover and start charging your projector. You are ready to charge and project!
Connections and Setup
This guide covers the setup for the Miroir M190 Mini Pro Projector.
Supported Devices: iPad, MacBook, iPhone.
Ports and Connections:
- DC IN: Power input.
- HDMI: For connecting devices with HDMI video output via an HDMI cable.
- USB-C: For USB-C video input or charging. Connect compatible USB-C charge/video cables to devices supporting USB-C video output or power adapters. (USB-C cable not included).
- USB 5V OUT: USB power output for charging devices like HDMI streaming sticks or smartphone batteries. Not for video input.
- AUDIO: 3.5mm audio output for external speakers or headphones.
Note on Apple Digital AV Adapter: An Apple Digital AV Adapter is not included and may be required for certain iPhone/iPad connections.
Projector Overview and Controls
The Miroir M190 Mini Pro Projector features several ports and controls:
- A. Battery Indicator Lights: Lights flash during charging; all lights illuminate when fully charged.
- B. Lens Cover: Slide to open to turn the projector on/off.
- C. Audio Out (3.5mm): Connect external speakers or headphones.
- D. HDMI Video Input: Connect an HDMI cable to a device with HDMI video output.
- E. USB Power Output: Connect a USB power cable to power an HDMI streaming stick or charge a smartphone battery. Cannot be used for video input.
- F. USB-C Video/Charge Input: Connect a compatible USB-C charge/video cable to a device with USB-C video output or a power adapter.
- G. Reset Button: Press to reset the projector.
- H. Power Port: Connect the included AC Adapter/Charger. Fully charge the battery before first use (approx. 4-5 hours).
- I. Mode Button: Long press to switch between ECO mode (lower brightness, longer battery life) and Normal mode (maximum brightness, shorter battery life).
- J. Controls: Buttons to increase/decrease projector volume.
- K. Focus Controls: A wheel to adjust image focus.
- L. Rubber Foot Pads: Provide stability and airflow to cooling vents.
- M. Cooling Vent: Important: Do not cover or block airflow.
- N. Kick Stand: Extend to elevate the front of the projector.
Troubleshooting
The image is blurry
- Adjust the focus wheel forwards or backwards.
- Ensure the projection surface is smooth and non-reflective.
- Check that the projector's lens is clean and free of debris.
The image is not square
- Ensure the projector's lens is parallel to the projection surface and that the surface is flat.
No sound
- Check the volume on your source device and ensure it is turned up.
- Check the projector's volume controls and ensure they are turned up.
- If using an adapter, verify it supports audio.
- Ensure the HDMI cable is fully plugged into the HDMI port.
No Signal Message
- Verify you are using the correct cable and/or adapter.
- If using a digital AV adapter, ensure it is an authentic Apple adapter compatible with your device.
- If connecting via USB-C, use a cable labeled "USB-C Video"; some USB-C cables do not support video.
- If connected to a laptop or computer, check display settings for a multiple display option (e.g., "mirror these displays").
- Confirm your source device supports HDMI video out or USB-C video out.
Projector will not power on, or stay powered on
- Briefly press the projector's power button to check battery level. If one or fewer lights illuminate, charge the battery using the AC adapter or USB-C cable.
