Note: If the unit has been tilted, wait 24 hours before plugging it in.

Drip Tray

Ensure the drip tray in the rear of the unit is in the proper position.

Electrical Requirement

WARNING: ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENT - SHOCK HAZARD

  • Use a suitable power outlet (115 volts, 15 amps) with proper grounding.
  • Avoid using three-prong adapters or cutting off the grounding prong, as this creates a shock hazard.

Installation Limitations

  • Do not install in locations not properly insulated or heated (e.g., garages). The unit is not designed for ambient temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
  • Select a hard, even surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources (radiators, cooking appliances). Correct any floor unevenness with leveling legs.
  • This unit is designed for freestanding installation only; it is not for built-in applications.
  • Note: This unit is for indoor use only.

Use of Extension Cord

  • Avoid extension cords due to potential safety hazards.
  • If an extension cord is necessary, use a 3-wire cord with a 3-blade grounding plug and a matching outlet. The cord's rating must be equal to or greater than the appliance's rating.

Proper Beverage And Wine Center Care & Cleaning

Cleaning and Maintenance

Warning: To avoid electric shock, always unplug your beverage and wine center before cleaning. Ignoring this warning may result in death or injury.

Caution: Before using cleaning products, always read and follow manufacturer's instructions and warnings to avoid personal injury or product damage.

General Cleaning

  • Prepare a cleaning solution of 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda mixed with warm water. Use a sponge or soft cloth dampened with the solution to wipe down the unit.
  • Rinse with clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach, concentrated detergents, solvents, or metal scouring pads, as they may damage or discolor the unit.

Door Gaskets

  • Clean door gaskets every three months to ensure a proper seal. Gaskets must be kept clean and pliable.
  • Applying a light coat of petroleum jelly on the hinge side of the gaskets will help keep them pliable and ensure a good seal.

Defrosting

The unit has a manual defrost system. Surfaces will defrost when the unit is unplugged. Water is channeled to a drip tray on the compressor and evaporates due to heat transfer.

Power Interruptions

  • During power interruptions (e.g., thunderstorms), unplug the unit from the AC outlet.
  • When power is restored, replug the unit. The unit will revert to the factory setting of 46°F after any power outage; reset your temperature selection.

Vacation and Moving Care

  • For long vacations or absences, empty the unit, unplug it, and clean it and the door gaskets according to the "General Cleaning" section. Prop doors open to allow air circulation.
  • When moving, always transport the unit vertically. Do not move it lying down, as this could damage the sealed system.

Troubleshooting

Control Panel does not respond

  • Check if the control panel [power-icon] is on.

Beverage And Wine Center Does Not Operate

  • Check if the unit is plugged in.
  • Check if there is power at the AC outlet by examining the circuit breaker.
  • Check if the power pad [power-icon] is on.

Temperature appears too warm

  • Frequent door openings.
  • Allow time for recently added beverages to reach proper temperature.
  • Check gaskets for a proper seal.
  • Adjust temperature control to a cooler setting.

Temperature is too cold

  • If the temperature control setting is too cold, adjust to a warmer setting and allow several hours for temperature to adjust.

Beverage And Wine Center runs too frequently

  • This may be normal to maintain constant temperature during high temperature and humid days.
  • Doors may have been opened frequently or for an extended period of time.
  • Check gasket for proper seal.
  • Check to see if doors are completely closed.

Moisture build up on interior or exterior

  • This is normal during high humidity periods.
  • Prolonged or frequent door openings.
  • Check door gaskets for proper seal.

Beverage And Wine Center door does not shut properly
