Installation

General Instructions: Ensure power is off before starting installation. Use appropriate tools and follow safety guidelines.

1. Prepare the Socket: Open the base and cover plate using a suitable screwdriver.
2. Prepare Mounting Location: Drill four 6mm holes in the ground, referring to the diagram for dimensions. Insert expansion screw tubes into the holes. Do not install in areas where water may accumulate. Strip wires according to the diagram, ensuring the earth wire is not too short. The appliance requires a 3-core cable (0.75 mm², 1.0 mm², or 1.5 mm²).
3. Connect Wiring: Remove the cable anchor. Pass the wire through the bottom opening of the socket. Connect the 'L', 'N', and 'E' terminals with a screwdriver. Reinstall the cable anchor, ensuring the wire is securely held.
4. Mount the Socket: Install and tighten the socket into the prepared holes using a screwdriver.
5. Final Assembly: Insert the cover plate into the socket, passing the grounding wire through the clamp groove. Secure the cover plate with two screws. Insert the socket into the cover and fasten the entire unit with six screws.

Diagram Reference: Wire colors for connection are indicated as BROWN/RED (L), BLUE/BLACK (N), and GREEN/YELLOW (E). Hole dimensions and spacing are provided.

Usage

• Plug the product into a splash-proof outdoor power outlet. The connected device's plug must also be splash-proof.
• Close the cover without the device connected.
• The connected device automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn.

Notes and Warnings

• Note: Avoid placing lights near the twilight sensor to prevent malfunction. Ensure the sensor is not covered. Do not place the product directly next to a window to avoid direct sunlight.
• Warning: Installation should only be performed by individuals with relevant electrical knowledge and experience. Improper installation can endanger life and property. Consult an electrician if unsure.
• Do not connect units one after another.
• Do not operate when covered.
• Splash-proof.
• Vertical use only.

Installation requires specific knowledge, including:

• The 5 applicable safety rules: Disconnect, Secure against re-energization, Determine de-energization, Ground and short-circuit, Cover or fence off adjacent live parts.
• Selection of appropriate tools, measuring devices, and personal protective equipment.
• Evaluation of measurement results.
• Selection of electrical installation material to ensure shutdown conditions.
• Understanding of IP protection classes.
• Installation of electrical installation material.
• Knowledge of the supply network type (TN, IT, TT systems) and connection conditions.
• Proper grounding and protective measures.

General Safety and Care

• Read the manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
• Use the product only for its intended purpose.
• Do not use if any part is damaged or defective. Replace immediately if damaged.
• This product is not a toy; children should not use it without adult supervision.
• Do not modify the product.
• Environmental Protection: Do not expose to water or moisture (IP 20). Do not immerse in water (IP 44-IP 67). Keep away from heat sources. Do not block ventilation openings.
• Lighting Safety: Do not look directly into the LED. Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter between the lamp and the illuminated surface.
• Electrical Safety: Only authorized technicians should open the product for service. Do not use if the cable or plug is damaged. Ensure voltage matches the rating plate. Prevent the cable from hanging over edges or causing tripping hazards.
• Maintenance: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use only mild cleaning agents.
• Light Source Replacement: The light source must only be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
• Cable Replacement: The external flexible cable cannot be replaced; if damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.

Disposal

The product is designated for separate collection at an appropriate collection point. Do not dispose of with household waste. Contact your retailer or local authority for disposal information.
