At a Glance
Exterior Assembly
The exterior assembly features a fingerprint sensor with an indicator light, a Type-C interface, and a keyhole.
Fingerprint: Used for unlocking the door.
Indicator: Provides visual feedback on the lock's status.
Type-C Interface: For emergency power supply.
Keyhole: For traditional key access.
Interior Assembly
The interior assembly includes a thumb turn for manual operation.
Thumb Turn: Used to manually lock or unlock the door from the inside.
App Guide
Before Pairing
The Smart Life App is required to operate the lock. Ensure the lock is properly installed before proceeding with the pairing step, which should be performed by the lock owner. All rights to the door lock belong to the owner; other members wishing to add fingerprints must do so through the lock owner's account.

Step 1: Register Your Account
- Search and download the "Smart Life" app from Google Play or the App Store.
- Tap on "Register".
- Complete the registration information and tap "Get Verification Code". A verification code will be sent to the email address you provided.
Step 2: Pair Your Lock
- Tap the fingerprint sensor to wake up the lock.
- Tap on "Add Device".
- Discover the lock and tap on "Add".
- Once the lock is added successfully, tap on "Done".
Important: You may need to tap the fingerprint sensor once to wake the lock and ensure you do not hold it for more than 5 seconds.
Step 3: App Lock / Unlock
Slide the icon to the left side to lock the door. Slide the icon to the right side to unlock the door.
Note: App unlock and lock functionality only works when you are within Bluetooth range of the lock. For remote control, connect the Veise gateway BT03 (sold separately).
Step 4: Add Your Fingerprints
- Tap on "Member Management".
- Choose the member and tap on it.
- Tap on "+ Add".
- Follow the instructions in the Smart Life App to complete the process.
Note: Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner 6 times, using different angles and pressing slightly harder each time to improve recognition.
Mute Your Lock
- Tap on "more".
- Tap on "Lock Volume".
- Select "Mute" to disable the lock's sound.
Member Management
- Tap on "Member Management".
- Tap on "+" and select "share".
- Complete the member information and tap "Share".
Note: The original Admin must disconnect first before a shared member can connect to the lock in the Smart Life App. After successful sharing, the invited user needs to accept the invitation.
How to Unlock
Unlock from outside
- Use the Fingerprint.
- Slide the unlock icon in the Smart Life App.
- Use the Mechanical Key.
Note: Fingerprint can only be used to unlock.
Unlock from inside
- Twist the door knob.
Note: It requires pairing the lock with the Smart Life App first.
How to Lock
Lock from outside
- Slide the lock icon in the Smart Life App.
- Use the Mechanical Key.
- Auto Lock: The door knob will automatically lock 5 seconds after unlocking, except in Passage Mode.
Note: It requires pairing the lock with the Smart Life App first.
Lock from inside
- Rotate the Thumb Turn.
Note: The front door knob can still be twisted when locked, but it will not unlock.
How to Reset
- Rotate the Thumb Turn from the default position to the unlock position 5 times.
- Rotate the Thumb Turn from the default position to the lock position 5 times.
After completing these steps, a long beep will sound, and the indicator in the fingerprint identification area will flash green.

Important: After resetting, all fingerprints will be deleted. Any fingerprint can unlock the door knob. Please add an Admin in the Smart Life App as soon as possible.
Lock Mode Definition (Only for Indoors)
Normal Mode
In Normal Mode, the door knob automatically locks 5 seconds after fingerprint unlocking. Both Admin and shared members can unlock with their fingerprints.
Passage Mode
In Passage Mode, the lock remains unlocked until manually locked. Auto Lock is disabled in this mode.
Privacy Mode
In Privacy Mode, both Admin and shared members can unlock via the Smart Life App. Only the Admin can unlock with their fingerprints.

Emergency Power Supply
When the batteries are dead, power on the lock by connecting it to a power bank via the Type-C interface on the bottom of the exterior assembly.
After unlocking, replace the batteries as soon as possible.
Note: The Type-C interface is for emergency unlocking only and cannot be used for recharging or data transmission.
Important: Please use a USB-A to Type-C cable for emergency power supply.
FAQ
Why can't I find the door knob in Smart Life App during pairing?
Make sure to tap on the fingerprint sensor to wake up the lock before pairing.
What should I do when unable to lock / unlock in Smart Life App?
Ensure you are within the Bluetooth range (32 feet) of the lock.
How can others unlock the door via Smart Life App?
The lock owner can share access through the “Member Management” page.
How to control the lock remotely?
It is possible to remotely control the lock via the Smart Life App after connecting to the Veise gateway BT03 (sold separately).
How to calibrate the battery capacity?
When within the Bluetooth range of the lock, the battery capacity will automatically calibrate.
What should I do if my fingerprint doesn't work?
- Check if batteries are installed correctly. Replace with 4 new alkaline batteries when the low battery indicator flashes.
- Ensure the scanner surface and your finger are clean and dry.
- When adding fingerprints, place your finger on the scanner 6 times, using different angles and pressing slightly harder each time.
- Try adding fingerprints of multiple fingers or the same fingerprint multiple times to improve recognition rate.
- It is recommended to install locks on doors with eaves. While the lock is waterproof, prolonged exposure to rain might cause malfunction.
