Desk Assembly
Tools Needed (Not Included)
- [Phillips screwdriver]
Step 1: Determine Desk Orientation
Choose your desired desk orientation: place the short desktop on the right (RIGHT) or left side (LEFT).
Diagram Description: Shows two configurations for the L-shaped desk, one with the shorter desktop on the left and one with it on the right.
Step 2: Assemble Main Frame
Align the LONG and CORNER DESKTOPS together. Align the pins in each frame with the pre-drilled holes on the desktops. Insert (8) M8 SCREW SETS into the frames and use the 5MM ALLEN KEY to secure them onto the desktop.
Diagram Description: Illustrates connecting the side frames and corner frame to the long and corner desktops using screws and an Allen key.
Step 3: Install Support Rails
Place SUPPORT RAILS A, B, C, and D into the grooved areas on each side of the frame. Slide the support rails into place and insert (6) M8 SCREW SETS into the support rails. Secure the rails onto the desktop using the 5MM ALLEN KEY.
Diagram Description: Shows the placement of four support rails onto the assembled desk frame and securing them with screws.
Step 4: Install Support Plates
Align the (4) SUPPORT PLATES with the holes on the desktop. Insert (12) M8 SCREW SETS into the plates and use the 5MM ALLEN KEY to secure them onto the desktop.
Diagram Description: Depicts attaching four support plates to the underside of the desktop using screws.
Step 5: Attach Legs
Place the (3) LEGS into the grooved areas inside each metal frame. Confirm proper alignment by pushing the leg towards the outside of the frame. Use the 4MM ALLEN KEY to securely tighten (2) M6 SCREWS and (2) M6 WASHERS into each leg.
Diagram Description: Shows attaching the legs to the desk frame and securing them with screws and washers.
Step 6: Mount Control Box
Align the CONTROL BOX over the pre-drilled holes behind the corner frame. Use (2) ST5 X 16 TAPPING SCREWS and a Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to attach the Control Box. It is recommended that the cable end faces the long desktop.
Diagram Description: Illustrates mounting the control box to the desk frame.
Step 7: Attach Control Panel Bracket
Align the CONTROL PANEL BRACKET over the pre-drilled holes on the LONG DESKTOP. Use (2) ST4 X 19 TAPPING SCREWS and a Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to attach the bracket. It is recommended to install the Control Panel on the outside edge of the long desktop.
Diagram Description: Shows attaching the control panel bracket to the underside of the long desktop.
Step 8: Attach Feet
Align the (3) FEET with the screw holes of the leg. Secure each foot using the 6MM ALLEN KEY to screw in (2) M10 X 40 SCREWS.
Diagram Description: Depicts attaching the feet to the bottom of the desk legs.
Step 9: Flip the Desk
With the help of another person, carefully flip the assembled desk and the unattached leg to an upright position. Ensure short side rails are fully mounted to the center desktop before flipping to avoid bending.
Step 10: Attach Short Desktop
Hook the unattached leg and frame to the short desktop support rails. Place the SHORT DESKTOP onto the frame, aligning the frame pins with the pre-drilled holes on the underside. Use the (10) M8 SCREW SETS and the 5MM ALLEN KEY to attach the frame, support plates, and support rails to the short desktop.
Diagram Description: Shows connecting the second desktop section and securing it with screws.
Step 11: Connect Control Panel and Wiring
Locate the CONTROL PANEL and slide it into the BRACKET. Connect its cable to the CONTROL BOX input labeled HS. Use the included ADHESIVE CLIPS to secure the cord to the underside of the desktop.
Diagram Description: Illustrates connecting the control panel to the bracket and the control box, and using clips for cable management.
Step 12: Connect Extension Cables
Connect the corner leg cable to the SHORT EXTENSION CABLE (Figure A). Connect the SHORT EXTENSION CABLE to the Control Box input labeled M1. Connect each side leg cable to the LONG EXTENSION CABLES. Connect the LONG EXTENSION CABLES to their corresponding Control Box inputs labeled M2 and M3 (Figure B). Finally, connect the POWER CORD to the Control Box AC input and plug in the desk.
Diagram Description: Shows detailed cable routing and connection points for the desk's electrical components.
Product Setup & Adjustments
Initial Setup
To perform an initial setup or reset:
- Press the DOWN button on the control panel until the base reaches its lowest position.
- Press and hold the DOWN button again until the LED display reads "RST".
- Press and hold the '1' button (about 5 seconds) while the LED flashes "RST". This allows you to choose between:
- 10.1 = One-Touch (preset buttons work with one quick press)
- 10.2 = Constant-Touch (preset buttons work when pressed and held down for a few seconds)
- Release the '1' button. Press the '1' button again until the desired setting is reached.
- Wait for the display to return to "RST".
- Finish the reset by pressing and holding the DOWN button until the desk lowers slightly, rises slightly, and stops.
The new program is saved, and your desk is ready to use.
Inches to Centimeters Conversion
To toggle between inches and centimeters:
- Press the DOWN button until the desk reaches its lowest position (25").
- Press and hold the DOWN button again until the display flashes "RST".
- Press and hold the '2' button (about 8 seconds) until the display flashes "RST" and then switches to either 10.3 (= cm) or 10.4 (= in).
If "RST" is not flashing:
- Lower the desk to the lowest position (25"), then release the button.
- Press and hold the DOWN button until "RST" flashes, then release the button.
- Press and hold the DOWN button again until the display shows the height of 25", then release the button.
If "RST" is already flashing, begin with step 2 above.
Height Settings and Preferences
The height settings range from 25-50.5 inches (63.5-128 cm). You can program 4 preferred heights by adjusting the desk to your desired height, pressing the "M" button (the display will show "S-"), then pressing 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Setting Upper & Lower Limits
To set a more narrow height range:
- Ensure the power is ON and a number is displayed.
- To set the Upper-Limit Position: Move the base to the desired maximum height. Press and release "M", then press and release "UP". The display will flash "S-". Press and hold "M" until the display shows "999". The display will return to the selected height.
- To set the Lower-Limit Position: Move the base to the desired minimum height. Press and release "M", then press and release "DOWN". The display will flash "S-". Press and hold "M" until the display shows "000". The display will return to the selected height.
- To Remove Upper/Lower Limit Positions: Press and release "M". The display will read "S-". Within 5 seconds, press and hold "M" again for 2 seconds. The display will change to "555" and return to the height display.
[warning] A RESET procedure requires the desk base to fully retract (beyond any lower limit set). Ensure proper clearance below the desk base.
If memory positions (1-4) are outside the new range after setting limits, reset the memory positions.
Recalibrating
Recalibrate if the display shows an incorrect height (e.g., 50.5" when fully lowered). Measure the distance from the floor to the desktop surface. If it doesn't match the display:
- Press and hold DOWN until the display reads "RST".
- Press and hold "M" until the LED displays the flashing height.
- Use UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the height to match your measurement.
- The display will return to "RST" in about 5 seconds.
- Finish by pressing and holding DOWN until the desk lowers slightly, rises slightly, and stops.
Note: The LED display has a +/- 0.1 tolerance.
Control Panel Lock
Press and hold "M" (about 8 seconds) until the display switches to "S-" and then to "LOC". Release the button.
Control Panel Unlock
Press and hold "M" (about 8 seconds) until the LED switches from "LOC" to the height display. Release the button.
