Wiring Connection

Panel Operation
Description of physical buttons and their functions:
- MIC: Invalid, use external microphone.
- RST: Reset button. Press with a pointed object (e.g., ballpoint) to reset the unit to factory default settings.
- Power ⏻: In power-on state: Press to Mute. Press and hold for more than 5 seconds to turn off the screen.
- Home ⌂: Press to enter the main menu.
- Return ↩️: Press to go back to the previous screen.
- Volume ?: Short press to increase volume.
- Volume ?: Short press to decrease volume.
Home Menu
Upon booting, the unit enters the home menu.
The home screen displays the current time, date, speed, and various application icons.
Functions accessible from the home menu:
- Click to enter music interface ?.
- Click to enter Radio interface ?.
- Click to enter Apple CarPlay / Airplay.
- Click to enter Android Auto / Android Link.
- Click to enter EQ adjustment ?️.

Dropdown Menu
Slide your finger down the top edge to trigger the drop-down menu. Swipe down again to adjust screen brightness.
- WLAN: Tap to turn on/off Wi-Fi. Long press to enter WLAN settings.
- Brightness: Slider for screen brightness adjustment.
- Notifications: Displays system notifications.
- Clean Screen: Clears the screen.
- Reset and restart: Options to reset or restart the unit.
- Bluetooth ⊛: Tap to turn on/off Bluetooth. Long press to enter Bluetooth settings.
- Settings ⚙️: Tap to enter system settings.
Radio
The radio interface allows tuning to FM/AM stations.
Key functions:
- ① Available stations list: Displays a list of receivable stations.
- ② RDS settings: Access Radio Data System settings.
- ③ ④ Frequency adjustment: Tap to manually step up/down frequency. Tap and hold to automatically scan for the next station.
- ⑤ Radio function status display: Shows current radio status (e.g., ST for stereo).
- ⑥ Band switch: Tap to switch between FM and AM bands.
- ⑦ Auto scan: Scans for available radio stations.
- ⑧ Auto browse: Automatically browses through available stations.
- ⑨ Local function: Enables or disables the local function.
- ⑩ Sound effects: Tap to access sound effect settings.
CAUTION: The RDS icon (②) and AF TP/TA icons (⑤) may not appear if the radio is not RDS enabled.
Music
Music playback interface for playing audio files.
Key functions:
- ① Playlist selection: Tap to select playing, favorites, or recent playlists.
- ② Folder view: List music files in folders.
- ③ Playlist display: Shows the current playlist (Playing/Favorites/Recent).
- ④ Playback control: Tap to play forward or backward.
- ⑤ Shuffle/Repeat: Tap to activate shuffle or repeat modes.
- ⑥ Play last: Tap to play the previous track.
- ⑦ Play/Pause: Tap to play or pause the current track.
- ⑧ Play next: Tap to play the next track.
- Sound effect setup: Tap to access sound effect settings.
Lyrics: Tap the album cover to view song lyrics.
EQ: Access Equalizer settings with presets like Custom, Normal, Pop, Rock, Classic, and Jazz.
Video
Video playback interface.
Key functions:
- ① List video files: Access video files in folders.
- ② Fullscreen: Toggle fullscreen mode.
- ③ Play last: Play the previous video.
- ④ Play/Pause: Play or pause the current video.
- ⑤ Play next: Play the next video.
- ⑥ Playlist access: Access the video playlist.
CAUTION: For safety reasons, video images cannot be viewed while the vehicle is in motion. To view video images, stop in a safe place and apply the parking brake.
A warning screen displays: "For your safety, Please stop the car, and take the brake on" with a BRAKE button.
AUX and AV-IN
AUX: Allows playing audio from external portable audio players connected to the unit.
AV-IN: Displays video output from connected devices.
CAUTION: Same safety warning as video playback applies.
Bluetooth Phone
First-time Bluetooth connection steps:
- Enter Settings ⚙️ > Bluetooth ⊛, then tap ON to enable the Bluetooth switch.
- Turn on Bluetooth ⊛ on your mobile phone to allow the car system to detect your device. Select your mobile device's name to start the connection.
- On the mobile phone, tap PAIR to confirm the pairing.
- After successful pairing, connect the Bluetooth.
Bluetooth Pairing Request: A prompt shows the device name (e.g., "X-QD1120") and a pairing code (e.g., "263743") to confirm.
Dial pad: Allows entering phone numbers using a numeric keypad. Options include Call, Contacts, Call Log, and Favorite. Tap to erase a wrong number or tap and hold to erase the entire number.
ATTENTION: It is prohibited to make phone calls while driving.
Bluetooth Music
Interface for playing music via Bluetooth.
Key functions:
- ① Play last: Play the previous track.
- ② Song/Album/Singer: Displays track information.
- ③ Play next: Play the next track.
- ④ Play progress bar: Shows playback progress.
- ⑤ Play forward or backward: Seek within the track.
- ⑥ Play or pause: Control playback.
File Explorer
Interface for browsing files on connected storage devices.
Functions:
- Back: Return to the previous directory.
- Select All/Deselect All: Select or deselect all files in the current view.
- HD device file: Access files on HD storage.
- USB device file: Access files on USB storage.
- Folder: Navigate into directories.
- Video file: Play video files.
- Music file: Play music files.
- Photo file: View photo files.
- Select/Deselect: Select or deselect individual files.
SWC (Steering Wheel Control)
Setup guide for configuring steering wheel controls.
Steps:
- Connect SWC1/SWC2/GND wires of the unit to your vehicle's SWC wires.
- Tap "Reset" and then tap "Start".
- Select the key you want to set up.
- Press and hold the corresponding key on the steering wheel until a green tick appears, indicating successful setup.
- Repeat for other keys (3-4 times to complete all keys).
- Tap "Save".
Third Party Applications
Description of supported third-party applications:
- YouTube: A popular global video platform for uploading, watching, and sharing video content.
- Google Chrome: A fast, lightweight, and secure web browser developed by Google, used for internet browsing and searching.
- Google Play: A widely used app store for Android devices, offering a variety of digital entertainment and utility applications.
- Netflix: A streaming service offering movies, TV shows, and original content across various genres.
Phone Connect
Apple CarPlay (Wireless Connection)
CarPlay automatically connects your iPhone to the car's display, allowing safe access to navigation, calls, messages, music, and calendar functions while driving.
Connection steps:
- The car's infotainment system enters the CarPlay connection interface.
- The mobile device connects to the car's Bluetooth ⊛.
- On the mobile device, select "Use CarPlay" in the pop-up window to start using wireless CarPlay functionality.
Connection exception recovery: Delete paired Bluetooth on phone and car, then restart the device and connect again.
Android Auto (Wireless Connection)
Android Auto connects Android smartphones to the vehicle's entertainment system, providing access to applications, music, navigation, and communication features on the car's touchscreen.
Connection steps:
- The car's infotainment system enters the Android Auto connection interface.
- The mobile device connects to the car's Bluetooth ⊛.
- On the mobile device, tap PAIR in the pop-up window to start using wireless Android Auto functionality.
Connection exception recovery: Delete paired Bluetooth on phone and car, then restart the device and connect again.
Screen Cast
Mobile connectivity allows connecting mobile devices to vehicle displays for a convenient user experience. Wireless screen projection is available via mobile phone hotspot.
Connection steps:
- Click the question mark ❓ in the upper right corner to display the screen projection QR code.
- Scan the QR code to download the Internet application (for Android phones).
- After opening the application, follow the instructions to connect.
Split Screen Display
Allows displaying two applications on the screen simultaneously.
Steps:
- Tap 1 to enter the task menu interface.
- Tap 2 to display the split screen button.
- Tap 3 to open the split screen display.
ATTENTION: Supported split screen applications include Radio ?, Music ?, Navigation ?️, Bluetooth ⊛, and Settings ⚙️. Unsupported applications cannot enable split screen display.
Settings
WLAN
Turn on the WLAN switch, start scanning for nearby WLAN networks, and list the available networks.
Wi-Fi Hotspot
Turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot switch. Nearby devices can connect to the system via Wi-Fi, enabling shared network access and interconnectivity.
Bluetooth ⊛
Turn on the Bluetooth switch and start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices. If matched devices are found and "Auto connect" is enabled, the system will automatically connect. For first-time pairing, a Bluetooth connection request pop-up will appear on the mobile device; tap "Pair" to establish the connection.
Device Name: Tap the "Device Name" to open a keyboard and rename the device.
Settings (Continued)
Sound
Adjust settings for Media volume, System volume, BT HFP volume, Phone ringer, and Sound effects. Customize phone ringer and keypad tones.
Display
Adjust settings for Backlight brightness, Boot Logo, Wallpaper, Assistive touch, Current screen saver, Clock, and Screen timeout. Set a favorite picture as wallpaper.
Vehicle Setting
Lamp detection: When vehicle lamps are detected as ON, touchscreen buttons increase brightness. Brake detection: When the vehicle's brake is detected as disengaged, video playback is prohibited.
Navigation
Set Mix proportion, perform GNSS test, and configure starting the navigation app upon boot.
Settings (Continued)
Languages and Input
Manage languages and keyboards. Add languages and arrange their order. The default keyboard is Android Keyboard (AOSP). Manage installed keyboards.
Date and Time
Set Date, Time, Time zone, and Time format. Use network-provided time and automatic settings unless manual override is needed. Option to use 24-hour format.
Accounts
Sign in to your Google account by tapping "Add Account". Enable automatic app data sync to synchronize data logged with your Google account to the cloud.
System
System Restart: Perform a system shutdown and restart. System Upgrade: Check for and install software upgrades. Note: Requires password 888888.
System (Factory Reset)
Factory reset: Erases all data from the device's internal storage, including Google accounts, system and app data, settings, downloaded apps, music, photos, and other user data.

Display device information such as Serial number, Model & hardware, DDR, FLASH, and LCD Information.
Rearview Camera
When the vehicle is put into Reverse (R) gear, the system displays a reverse camera screen. The trajectory line is divided into three sections (0.5m, 2m, 3m) indicated by red, yellow, and green colors, respectively.

Common Troubleshooting Guidelines
Problem | Cause | Correct Action |

Precautions on Power Supply and Speaker Connections
Do not connect the speaker cables of the power cord to the car battery; otherwise, the unit will be seriously damaged.
Before connecting the speaker cables of the power cord to the speakers, check the speaker wiring in your car.
Diagrams show correct and incorrect speaker connections:
- Incorrect: Speaker wires crossed (e.g., Left+ to Right-, Right+ to Left-).
- Incorrect: Speaker wires connected with reverse polarity (e.g., Left+ to Left-, Right+ to Right-).
- Correct: Speaker wires connected with proper polarity (e.g., Left+ to Left+, Left- to Left-, Right+ to Right+, Right- to Right-).
