Original instructions for A010L Series
Portable air conditioners offer effective cooling for single rooms, creating a comfortable indoor environment. These units also provide ventilation and dehumidification by circulating air and removing moisture. As self-contained systems, they do not require permanent installation, allowing for flexible placement where cooling is most needed. They are commonly used in kitchens, temporary residences, computer rooms, garages, and other locations where the installation of an outdoor air conditioner unit is impractical or limited.
⚠ WARNING: Please read this manual carefully and fully understand it before operating your appliance.
Before working on systems containing flammable refrigerants, safety checks are essential to minimize ignition risks. For refrigeration system repairs, the following precautions must be observed:
Work must be undertaken under controlled procedures to minimize the presence of flammable gas or vapor during performance.
All maintenance staff and others in the local area must be informed about the nature of the work. Confined spaces should be avoided. The work area must be sectioned off, and conditions within the area made safe by controlling flammable materials.
The area must be checked with an appropriate refrigerant detector before and during work to ensure technicians are aware of potentially flammable atmospheres. Leak detection equipment used must be suitable for flammable refrigerants (e.g., non-sparking, adequately sealed, or intrinsically safe).
If any hot work is to be conducted on refrigeration equipment or associated parts, appropriate fire extinguishing equipment must be readily available. A dry powder or CO2 fire extinguisher should be adjacent to the charging area.
No person performing work on a refrigeration system that involves exposing pipework containing or having contained flammable refrigerant shall use any ignition sources that could lead to fire or explosion. All possible ignition sources, including cigarette smoking, must be kept sufficiently far from the installation, repair, removal, and disposal site, where flammable refrigerant could be released. Before work begins, the area around the equipment must be surveyed for flammable hazards or ignition risks. "No Smoking" signs must be displayed.
Ensure the area is open or adequately ventilated before breaking into the system or conducting any hot work. Ventilation must continue throughout the work period to safely disperse any released refrigerant, preferably expelling it externally into the atmosphere.
When electrical components are replaced, they must be fit for purpose and meet correct specifications. Manufacturer's maintenance and service guidelines must always be followed. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer's technical department. The following checks apply to installations using flammable refrigerants:
Repair and maintenance of electrical components must include initial safety checks and component inspection procedures. If a fault compromises safety, no electrical supply should be connected until the circuit is satisfactorily dealt with. If immediate correction is not possible but operation must continue, an adequate temporary solution must be used and reported to the equipment owner. Initial safety checks include:

A diagram shows a portable air conditioner unit placed indoors, with an exhaust hose extending from its back towards an open window, indicating proper ventilation setup.
The air conditioner requires external venting to allow waste heat and moisture to escape the room. Do not replace or extend the exhaust hose, as this will decrease efficiency and may cause the unit to shut down due to low backpressure.
The control panel features several buttons and indicators:
No. | Button/Display | Function |
---|---|---|
1 | LOCK 🔒 | Press this key to turn off the child lock function. |
2 | MODE ● | Press to switch the operation mode between fan, cooling, and dehumidifier. |
3 | UP ▲ | Increases the desired temperature (16 ℃ - 32 ℃) or timer setting. |
4 | POWER Ⓞ | Press to switch the machine on or off. |
5 | DOWN ▼ | Decreases the desired temperature or timer setting. |
6 | SPEED ● | Press to switch the fan speed between HIGH and LOW. |
7 | TIMER ⏰ | Sets a time for the unit to automatically start or stop. |
8 | SLEEP 🌙 | Press to enter sleep mode. Can only be entered in. |
9 | FAN SPEED | Displays the fan speed (High or Low). |
10 | LED DISPLAY | Displays the Room Temperature or Time Setting. |
11 | MODE DISPLAY | Displays the Mode Setting between fan, cooling, and dehumidifier. |
The unit has five operation modes: Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat, and Sleep.
Select the cool mode to lower the room temperature.
Note: The air conditioner stops if the room temperature is lower than the selected temperature.
Note: In this mode, the fan speed automatically switches to low speed and cannot be selected.
Sleep mode can be activated when in cool mode and heat mode.
After 1 hour, the preset temperature is increased by 1 °C; after another hour, the preset temperature will again be increased by 1 °C.
The timer has two ways of operation:
Cancel timer: Press Up/Down repeatedly until the LED shows '00'.
Note: Pressing POWER will also exit the timer setting.
At low room temperatures, frost may build up at the evaporator during operation. The unit will automatically start defrosting, and the POWER LED will blink. The defrost control sequence is as follows:
In the event of a power loss, there is a 3-minute delay before the compressor restarts to protect it.
Notes: Move the machine carefully to avoid spilling water from the water pan at the bottom of the body.
Notes:
Notes: Restart the machine after the water plug and drainage cover are installed; otherwise, condensate water will flow onto the floor or carpet. (Depiction: A portable air conditioner unit with a drainage hose connected to its lower rear outlet, leading into a bucket on the floor.)
The self-evaporating system uses collected water to cool the condenser coils for better efficiency. It is not necessary to empty the drainage tank during cooling operation, except in drying operation and high humidity conditions. Condensate water evaporates at the condenser and is evacuated through the exhaust hose.
For continuous or unattended operation in drying mode, connect the attached drain hose to the unit. Condensate water can automatically flow into a bucket or drain by gravity.
To avoid water spillage:
Dust accumulation on the filter restricts airflow, reducing system efficiency and potentially damaging the unit if blocked. The air filter requires regular cleaning and is removable for easy maintenance. Do not operate the unit without an air filter, as the evaporator may become contaminated.
A diagram shows a hand holding an air filter under a running faucet, illustrating the rinsing process.
Switch off the unit and remove the air filters. Rinse the air filter under running water.
⚠ Warning!!! Do not touch the evaporator surface with bare hands, as this could cause injury to your fingers.

Long-Term Storage: If the unit will not be used for an extended period (more than a few weeks), it is best to clean and dry it completely. Store the unit following these steps:
ATTENTION: The evaporator inside the machine must be dried out before packing to avoid component damage and mold. Unplug the unit and place it in a dry, open area for days to dry. Alternatively, turn on the machine, adjust it to low-wind ventilation mode, and maintain this state until the drainage pipe becomes dry, ensuring the inside of the body is dry and preventing mildew.
⚠ WARNING!!! Releasing refrigerant into the atmosphere is strictly forbidden!
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste. Use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding available collection systems. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into groundwater and enter the food chain, damaging health and well-being. (Depiction: A crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, indicating separate collection for electrical and electronic equipment.)
